We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage — it was comfortable, cosy and full of character. The place is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing, though you do get the gentle background soundtrack of corellas calling, which somehow adds to the charm. The air conditioning and ceiling fans kept the cottage cool and pleasant - and we were there during some very hot weather!. A real highlight was the wonderful library — great if you enjoy curling up with a good book. Sadly I didn’t have enough time to take full advantage of this.Location couldn’t be better: everything is within easy walking distance, including shops, coffee spots and the beautiful waterfront. Highly recommended for a relaxing break!
Fantastic location, lovely hosts and super comfortable. Beautifully decorated little cottage close to all amenities and walking distance to local shops & restaurants.
Perfect for our stay for a 4- day regatta, we’ll definitely stay here again for a trip to Goolwa.

Location, location!
Great central location to explore all Goolwa has to offer. Cute little cottage with everything you need.
A perfect place to stay, close to everything. Easy check-in. Everything you require for a short stay. Very comfortable bed. Met the elderly gentleman who owns the house. A very interesting man. Would have loved to have had more time to talk. Did read his book on his life, absolutely fascinating. Would definitely stay here again.
Very cute and charming accomodation, nicely presented with appropriate facilities. So many opportunities for eating experiences within 3 to 5 minute walking distance.
We enjoyed reading about the historical significance of the cottage and other local sights.
Thank you Sue for making our stay so comfortable.
Charming, centrally located accomodation that we used as a base whilst attending a family wedding. Comfortable and clean with minimal street noise. Beautifully presented and reasonable priced.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
Goolwa is a great place to explore the area
The cottage is small but comfy. Hosts live on site and we didn’t even get a welcome or any communication from them during our 5 night stay which was very disappointing. Good location in the town and within walking distance to cafes, pubs, wharf, train and tourist info centre.
Very comfortable, clean and tidy, had everything we needed, garden was beautiful. Very close walking distance to Goolwa markets (Sunday’s) and many restaurants and shops. Parking around the corner. Reasonable price for two nights. We would stay again.
Lovely to get away and rest for the weekend which we needed desperately. Accommodation was convenient, clean and warm(freezing weather) located cery close to Goola Wharf. Great for the Goolwas Wharf Markets on Sunday. Live to come back in warmer weather.
A clean and comfortable place for a little holiday; a short walking distance to restaurants and cafes, we used the car only to travel to the beach. An Excellent check in and out process and Sue was very caring and supportive with the communication. Thanks, Alan and Sue for providing such a great place to unwind :)
I gave my parents a few days in Goolwa as Mum's Mother's Day gift. They had a lovely time away, enjoying all that Goolwa had to offer.Dad had booked a Coorong Cruise which was a highlight and they were thrilled that everything was within walking distance.Dad was particularly thrilled to meet and have a chat with the owner of the property; a true blessing.Thank you, A.
The cottage was comfortable but did find the bedroom area cluttered. A little less furniture would helpI also feel the fridge could be larger.Overhead lighting left a little to be desired

Relaxing, Inviting and Peaceful surrounds....
From the moment we set eyes on this quaint little cottage - we knew it was a good choice. The old furniture reminded us of our Grandparents and even the old cutlery we used at breakfast took us back to our childhood. The Bed was so comfortable and warm. Great information of the area and interesting memoirs at our reading leisure. Would definitely pick this spot to stay again. Thanks for the warm and kind hospitality.

Thank you Mark it was a pleasure to host you and glad you enjoyed Sue & Alan
Lovely property in the centre of Goolwa. We could walk to anywhere. However we were disappointed that we had no contact with the property manager nor did they return my phone call. The property provides no breakfast despite advertising as a Bed and Breakfast

Hi Kerrie glad you enjoyed the cottage, as far as communication goes, you received at least two messages from myself despite me having none from you. I don't appear to have missed a call from you either and If you had have knocked our front door, we would’ve been happy to help with any questions, regards Sue
Bottom line is we didn't get what we booked & paid for. Awaiting refund

Hi Shirley, unfortunately we had a medical emergency with a guest at the Cottage, so it was temporarily unavailable for the time of your stay. We had organised alternative accommodation for you for the same price directly across the road but unfortunately it was not to your liking. I had also offered a substitute booking opportunity at the Goolwa Cottage at a time of your choosing but you have declined. I will proceed with your refund and sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Regards Sue
