About this property

Riverside Holiday Home

Our lovely home is set just 30 metres from the mighty Murray River. Wake in the morning and take in the magnificent views and listen to the abundance of bird life.

With private boat ramp for direct access to the river, and mooring facilities, you will be able to enjoy fishing, skiing or even just a quiet swim. Riverside Holiday Home has everything you need.

The house has 4 bedrooms:
Two queen rooms, one looks out onto the lovely gardens, the other has a small ensuite with shower and toilet and looks out onto magnificent river views.

The master bedroom has a king size bed which also has river views.

The forth bedroom is upstairs and one has two king single beds and two single trundle beds.

The house has two living spaces and two kitchens. One living area boasts a large dining table and wood heater.

The main kitchen is fully equipped with excellent quality cooking needs.

It has a main bathroom with shower and bath and a separate toilet with shower just off the laundry.

The house can comfortably sleep between 2 and 18 people.

The family room has a queen size sofa bed and two single sofa beds.

It has a barbecue area with outdoor setting for 12 and great easy to use BBQ just metres from the river which is a great spot to unwind and enjoy the scenery.

The house also has a fly and mosquito proof outdoor breezeway which has a dining setting for eight and outdoor lounges, bar tables and chairs.

We also have 5 single canoes for your private use, but please bring your own life jackets. Jackets must be worn for your safety.

It is ideal for a quiet get away close to the Trentham Estate winery or an action packed skiing and fishing experience.

We request that there is no large groups of males or females for Bucks or Hens parties.

Fantastic place to stay

myself and 5 old school friends stayed here for 4 nights in March 2023. we have an annual getaway and have done for 30 years and this place is our favourite so far and will definitely be coming back. Beautiful lawns, plenty of space inside the house and a fantastic bbq area. and of course right on the river with its own boat ramp just topped it off. I would highly recommend this place,

Highly recommend!!!

Cannot fault this property at all. Stayed here with 6 adults 7 kids from 7-17 and it was perfect for us! Absolutely serene and relaxing, but the river at the doorstep offered enough entertainment for the kids - along with the back lawn for us to lounge, eat and play!The huge kitchen bench was awesome for laying out food and catering for everyone, and multiple fridges kept the food and drinks seperate. The BBQ area was well stocked and set up beautifully! And we are all slightly fitter after walking up the hill all weekend! Cannot wait to go back!

A beautiful location on the Murray river

This is a wonderful location on the Murray river. With a beautiful outlook over the green lawn to the river, lots of bird-life, its a great place if you want to relax and watch the river drift by. The kitchen etc is well stocked and is ideal if you wish to prepare and enjoy meals in this beautiful spot. The only bad thing about this property is having to leave.

Idylllic home away from home

The location by the Murray river is beautiful and the spacious grounds gave plenty of room for children to play. Loved the the big outdoor bbq with covered area which helped keep some of the food mess outside. So glad to find a house to fit all our family in with grandchildren included! Had everything we required. to make our stay a memorable experience

Family reunion stay

The house was very clean and generously supplied with everything we could think to need. The kitchen was well equipped, the linen was crisp and clean, and the heating and cooling systems kept the house just so. Beautiful views of the river and so lovely to wake up to the sound of the birds. What a lovely weekend. Thank you!

Beautiful river views

Our group of 11 people, comprising of 3 families stayed at this big family house over 3 nights. The house is spacious with large living areas and large dining tables which allowed us to really enjoy our stay. The highlight of our stay was the magnificent river views and the large grass area overlooking the Murray River. We would strongly recommend this house to any large group looking for a place to stay near Trentham Cliffs and its not too far from the Mildura town centre. What’s not to like…

This huge family home was great for our mixed generation group of 10 it has the advantage of having a large family room where we could all be together with smaller living areas also. It was very clean and comfortable and included every amenity we needed. And of course the proximity to the river was fantastic also the large outdoor area big enough for ball games. We are thankful we could stay and would definitely love to stay again. Thank you 🙏

Annual mates weekend

This is the second year we have stayed here for our annual boys weekend although we all over 50 now lol. But apart from the weather being perfect and hot, the house and property is fantastic. A big house with plenty of space and plenty of bedrooms. Massive spacious living room with a second kitchenette. But the best part is the house is situated right on the river on a large private land with manicured grass. It also had its own boat ramp. There is also an awesome alfresco area halfway between the house and river with bbq, dishes, large double sink with hot and cold water and a huge double door commercial fridge. We basically either lived by the river or in the alfresco area. I would definitely recommend this place for large families or groups. Situated about 15-20 mins from Mildura.

Rather disappointed with cleanliness.

Fly wire huge hole on a door and holes in flywire overlooking the river. Shower screen in ensuite kept coming off the track Toilet seat in laundry toilet loose. Lamps either had no globes or just didn't work No spare towels. Tastic light in ensuite didn't work, and shelf over the toilet was very loose. No hanging space upstairs or in the study room with day nite bed . Were were a group of 72 year aged school friends who meet annually. Generally they were rather disappointed in the house...not good value for the $$$$. The pictures looked wonderful. Thank you

Beautiful spot for a break

The house was very spacious for our family. We met halfway between Adelaide and Bendigo for a long weekend. Beautiful lawn area for the kids ( and big kids!). Well equipped house that is only 20 minutes into Mildura. Gabrielle was very accommodating with any questions we had and very promwith responses. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a lovely stay.

From the time we made the booking until post check out the communication was amazing. The property is absolutely beautiful. Best place on the river for several families

This has to be the best place on the river for a group of families. Sensational lawn and river access. Great spot for water sports with its own boat ramp. Sensational bbq and meals area. Everything you could ever want for a stay right on the river. We had a fantastic week long stay for three families in a comfortable house with plenty of room and great air conditioning. Highly recommend

Amazing Family Getaway

This place suited our family perfectly. 8 adults and 5 kids aged 1yr to 7. Although the online photos shows it as a bit dated , the house was amazingly spacious, clean and supplied with all you needed. Highly recommend this property. An Ideal Getaway

We had a great time exploring the region over a week and this is a wonderful place to base your adventures from. A spacious property with beautiful river frontage including kayaks to paddle in. The house is well appointed and provides an ideal location for larger groups to stay together.
