Incredible location with views of the water from almost every room. Quiet, very secluded little neighborhood, but within easy reach of downtown Portland and all of the surrounding areas. Home is very nicely equipped and we enjoyed a very relaxing stay.

Great house in a beautiful location! The house was well-stocked, with extra blankets, kitchen equipment, beach equipment and more. I loved having access to the water - we used that access daily! I hope to visit again!

Excellent location. Beautiful home with outdoor patio and views of the ocean. Very clean home with all that is needed. Pictures accurately represent the home. Kitchen fully stocked. Could use some space for food storage, but no complaints at all!!! Great and timely communications w/host. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Lovely gem in Cape Elizabeth

Nicely appointed, clean and comfortable, and a walk to the beach - one couldn't ask for more. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Kitchen fairly well stocked. Denis and Danielle easy to work with. We were very satisfied.

Wonderful

The home was clean, modern and beautifully renovated. Two couples: plenty of room for three couples. Each room had a bedroom. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped to cook at home. Location was great, beach just across the street. I highly recommend for families or couples wanting to get away. Short drive to Portland.

The kitchen was great. Could use an empty space that could be a pantry. We used a laundry basket, and counter space. The ocean was nice, with a short walk to the shore for an up close view. A minor issue came up with clothes washer breaking down, but was addressed quickly, and the washer across the street was made available. We appreciate that pivot. We thought the first floor bed was way too hard.

Beautiful cottage in fantastic location

We rented this as multigenerational family for my birthday. We could not have been happier with location and house. Well appointed kitchen and across the road from the beach. We grabbed beach chairs out of closet and enjoyed many mornings watching kids play at beach. In evenings, the view from outdoor dining table was spectacular. Easy drive to two lights, Portland, Boothbay and Freeport. There are two great beaches we walked to which everyone enjoyed. Cindy, the property manager, is fantastic and very quick to answer questions and assist with any needs. We are planning to return!

A Month in Cape Elizabeth

This is a wonderful property! It has the best ocean views for sunset and sunrise. It is located down a private road in a quiet enclave of houses with a very short path to a special little rocky beach. You can hear, see and smell the ocean from the house! The house is comfortable and clean with a well appointed kitchen making cooking for a family easy. There is an outdoor shower and a patio with a large table to eat your lobsters from Alewifes outside. The property manager, Danielle, responded immediately to all requests and Denis responds quickly as well to booking questions. This was our second stay the house and we plan to return. This is special house and we plan to be back.

We enjoyed our week in this serene and lovely vacation home. Although there are others a little closer to the ocean, this one is situated so that you can see the ocean from 2 different sides. Public access to the rocky coast is an easy and pleasant walk away. It's a breeze to get into Portland, Cape Elizabeth or over to the lighthouses and hiking trails. The beds are comfortable, but the upholstered living room furniture is not. The appliances are shopworn and not user friendly. Luckily we brought our own sharp knives. Only a drip coffee maker is available, no coffee, some spices and baking supplies. No shampoo or bath soap. Written instructions explaining the many thermostats, recycling protocol and fussy door lock would make things easier. In most rentals, a WIFI password is prominently displayed. We finally found it in the midst of paragraphs about extraneous details. Cell phone service is spotty, but they do have a landline for emergencies. In June the sun comes up around 4AM and with thin white window covers you will need eye shades. Basically, the high price charged is for the location, not for luxe accommodations.

Dear Mike. We are glad that you have enjoyed some aspects of your stay at our property for half the price of our regular summer rate. Unfortunately, you have ignored repeatedly communications with you providing all information for your stay. I have resent it to you several times including WiFi information but even that didn’t help. It was indeed very difficult to reach you if not impossible after half a dozen attempts. We provide only basic hand soaps as our guests 99% of the time prefer their own toiletries of brands suitable to their tastes and accommodating their allergies. Sorry you didn’t like Viking appliances in the kitchen. The living room furniture is only a couple of years old LL Bean set meant for beach properties. We received many compliments on the furniture from many guests. Hope you will enjoy your summer.

A Gem

Denis' place has been and will continue to be a great place to stay for a couple of months while we have to be out of our own home. Denis and his property manager are easy to reach and get it done! The house has beautiful views, a quiet neighborhood, great views, and is incredibly well outfitted.

The location of this home was spectacular. Settled in a quiet welcoming community, nestled away from the ordinary hustle and bustle of summer southern Maine tourism, this home is on the water with a small beach across the road and access to a striking point in which to watch the sunset. The home is incredibly comfortable and well equipped.

Tranquil Setting Just Minutes from Portland

Property was exactly as represented with ocean views from several windows. Home was comfortable, clean, and well appointed. Only downside was the lack of privacy between neighboring houses when outdoors. Despite that, I would be happy to return to this property.

Best of Maine

I just spent 3 glorious weeks at 2 Tucker Lane! The location of the property, the views, the beautifully appointed home and the location were everything I was hoping for. I am very picky when it comes to rental properties and this house did not disappoint. The inside of the house was spotless, the kitchen was fully equipped with anything you can possibly need... down to the huge lobster pot which is essential when visiting Maine. This was a seamless booking, the owner of the property was quick to respond to my questions and the property manager Danielle was also amazing, responsive and professional. Book your Maine getaway at Peables Cove, you will not regret it!!

Great Location and Well Appointed

Well appointed house in a very central location, close to South Portland and downtown Portland and very close to Crescent Beach. Great view and access to Peabbles Cove was an amazing plus. Look forward to staying there again!

Lovely home, great experience!

We stayed at this lovely property for our annual Girls' Weekend. It's proximity to Portland was ideal, while also being the perfect retreat in a quiet beach side community. The home comfortably accommodated all eight of us, and had everything we needed to hang out, cook and relax. Denis and Lori were so communicative, and a pleasure to work with! Hopefully we'll be back again, thank you!!

Surprise Birthday Weekend gone right

We rented this house on Cape Elizabeth as a surprise birthday get away for my girlfriend and two other couples. The house was immaculate and perfect for hanging out and entertaining. The views from the two masters were amazing. We ventured in to downtown Portland to enjoy the drinks and food, and it was really nice to escape the city and head back to Cape Elizabeth for the nights. Definitely a great location. Lori and the property owner were very attentive to our needs and went above and beyond for us, getting us comfortable and settled in after a little weather snaffu. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. 11/10 will rent again on our next Portland trip.
