Good location and well presented house.
The property was in a convenient location. Overall enjoyed our stay but was a little steep walking up and down the hill from where the car was parked.

A requirement of bit walking on a well sealed driveway is obvious as seen from the photos, and the costing of two stars in the rating just because of this is not reasonable. Seriously.

Art Deco?
Could be lovely after a good clean. Range hood, sink and surrounds were sticky. Cooktop needs a good scrub. Oven was filthy. I’m always very happy and grateful when people open their homes but the standard needs to be higher if you want good reviews and people returning.

I do wish all my guests are focused on how to be relaxed and enjoy their time while staying in the mountains, not the opposite.
My friends and I have fond memories of Leura and we're really happy with the location of the property. The place itself is simple, a place to switch off and enjoy each others company, which we were all in need of. I wish there was more information about the property after arrival - they have a folder of general information but nothing of the place. E.g. there's no WiFi, however we have dvds in the cupboard for you to use / the washing machine is behind the 2nd left door in the hallway, laundry powder is on the top shelf cupboard. Drying rack is... (Didn't find it) I didn't realise there was no WiFi until we got there, signal is low, we had 1 bar but our phones managed ok. I think it should be advertised, if I had known earlier we would have brought games and our own favourite films to watch. This place needs some updating - one of the cupboards in the kitchen is broken, the hammock (although strong) is attached via a dog leash and some of the hob plates wouldn't light. Overall our stay was good, we enjoyed the space provided. The kitchen is large and has a separate space for both dining and relaxing, other places have felt very cramped but this was lovely. The view is wonderful and I enjoyed waking up to the trees and sounds of the birds, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere rather than right next to the main road.
Nice enough house, dark windows in two bedrooms from overgrown garden, verandah needing repair, hot water in shower very hard to regulate. No soft, comfortable couch.

This property is in hill with bush setting, thus the view from some windows is leafy. Also we use antique style of furniture including two antique sofas, not modern soft couch, and it is very clearly visible from the website.
The property is best for people who lives such features.

Leura Art Deco Garden is a well equiped get away
Leura Art Deco Garden has a well equiped kitchen, lounge and dining area. Nice balcony and verandah. Coffee, tea, sugar, milk and bread were provided. The house was clean.
Unfortunately, our two days were spoilt by extremely hot temperatures. There is NO air conditioning in the house, and ceiling fans were ineffective (it was >30 degrees during our stay).

None of us like extreme hot weather, especially it costs us two stars in the review, is it fair?

Loved our stay
we booked the upstairs and downstairs of the house for our Christmas in July. We had an amazing weekend here. The house was really nice and in a good location.
Good heating system, all beds with heated blankets. We cooked a big dinner and there was plenty of cooking equipment etc. Really homely. I would recommend for families and groups of friends. About a 2 min cab drive from Leura station (cost us $8). If your driving, there is plenty of room to park. We were on foot and walked to the 3 sisters from the house. The owner is really friendly and responsive to emails. I would defiantly stay here again. There is also an outdoor fire pit which we didn't use as it was a bit too cold outside but I imagine that when its a little bit warmer it would be a really nice area to sit.

Okay Property
A bit of a confused decor, oldish style bedrooms but modern kitchen and dining. No basic amenities provided like normal tea or soap in the property, you need to bring everything. Facilities were ok but we could not get the sound on the TV to work, picture quality poor and no instructions to use, we gave up trying to watch any TV. Outside was quite untidy and being right near the pacific hway was quite noisy when sitting outside. No linen at all provided so was reasonable for the price but other properties for a little extra offered these and other extras.

We put it very clear regarding the style of the decoration which is what are our proud of. We did provide many kinds of fresh tea leaves and expensive tea bags, the above comments reminded us to provide "normal" teas as we'll. The provision of linen is also stated very clear in the property description. This is a very big property, and a feeling of "natural" is also we wanted, thus we gave it a name of "forest garden". We have added a TV instruction leaflet in the house after that.
