Come and experience the beautiful McLaren Vale, whilst staying in your own private piece of paradise in the heart of the region.

‘Clements House’, one of the original homesteads in McLaren Flat, is located amongst sprawling vineyards and sits right next door to The Currant Shed, McLaren Vale’s number 1 fine dining restaurant on TripAdvisor.

We are only too happy to help you get the most out of your visit, and are on hand to assist with local recommendations and bookings to ensure your stay is both relaxing and memorable.

*Please note Clements House has a slow combustion heater (as well as a reverse cycle). In winter we supply kindling, fire lighters and logs for the first 2 nights of your stay ( this is estimated and all wood for your stay will be located in the basket by the front door to the house). If you require more, this can be purchased from Vales Landscaping, Old Mill Court, McLaren Vale.

Absolutely perfect

I will definitely be coming back! Communication with Emily was excellent, the place was incredible, so spacious, and made for sensational pre-wedding photos with the beautiful garden. Some local produce was also provided in the fridge which was a lovely touch.

Lovely stay

Clements House was perfect for getting ready before the wedding. The house was spacious and comfortable, and it had everything we needed to relax and unwind before the big day. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing place to stay in McLaren Vale.

Lovely peaceful location

Stayed for a family wedding nearby. Worked well, kids and adults enjoyed it. Only comments are: a new frypan and plastic flip, combined bath/toilet not ideal, not really enough breakfast provisions for 2 days, however were delicious.

Great property and location for Adelaide getaway

Property was in a great location to travel around the entire Adelaide area. Nothing was more than an hours drive. The house was charming and well presented. You feel like you are in the country miles from everything because it is just so peaceful. We would definitely go back for our next trip.

Amazing Property & Location

A beautiful place to stay, relax and enjoy the region. Vineyards to left, vineyards to the right and the Currant Shed right next door. Enjoyed the peace and quite after leaving Melbourne and on our way to WA! Can’t recommend Clements House enough. Thanks, Mitch & Dianne

Beautiful property for a short stay

Clements house provided a beautiful staycation space for us and our three children. A beautiful place to pack up and drive a short drive up the Southern Expressway too. Not too far from amenities either! We brought a portacot but realised when we arrived that there was a baby change table and portacot available to guests if needed. We couldn’t locate a high chair though, which we realised after we arrived might have been handy.

Clement House

Perfect!!! Clement House was the perfect accomodation. Photos don’t do it justice. Great location. Sparkling clean. Very well stocked. Our adult family of 7 stayed here and attended a wedding at Beresford House. Also close to many wineries, restaurants and breweries. It’s all here. Thanks to Emily.

The onsite booklet said there would be breakfast provisions and there wasn’t any. In the oven there was a dirty tray which I left in the dishwasher so none of my family could see it. The dishwasher did not work, couldn’t even close the dishwasher door. Spider webs and dusty window sill. An empty jam jar was left on the kitchen bench when we arrived. I have attached photos.When the WiFi wasn’t working, Adam from The Current Shed was helpful as was Emily even though she was overseas, she was responsive.
