Mountain Getaway - 10 minutes from Biltmore Estate and Downtown Asheville
Located in Asheville, NC - your next getaway is a 5 bedroom, 3 bath home - with plenty of space. Ten minutes from downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate, and just 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, this home has lots of privacy yet the trip to town is super easy and quick. The short drive from town up to the house is Uber accessible and the perfect introduction to mountaintop living.
Want to wake up to some mountain magic? Along with a queen size bed and full private bath, the queen bedroom has a picture window to soak up the view of trees and sky as they extend towards the horizon. Also wonderful for viewing the stars at night as you go to sleep. The 2nd upstairs bedroom has a full bed and the 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. Each room is equipped with reading lamps and ceiling fans. A queen-size sleeper sofa is in the living room with extra sheets and blankets.
The well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar has pots, pans, dishes, glasses, mugs, utensils, standard auto-drip coffee pot, toaster, fridge/freezer, oven/stove and opens into the dining room full of natural light.
Smart TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi are available along with an assortment of DVDs and other games.
The downstairs portion of Avondale Mountain offers 2 additional bedrooms each with a full size bed. A ping pong table, dining/card table, full bathroom and Keurig coffee maker station are provided for your enjoyment and convenience.
Enjoy the privacy of a large, backyard while playing in your very own mountain top 'playground’ complete with swing set. In summer months our garden can provide salad veggies, aromatic herbs and delicious berries. We also have a gas grill and smokeless fire-pit for our guests to enjoy.
Our house is in the mountains, surrounded by forest, in one of the most biodiverse regions of the planet. Bugs and bears are part of nature. We do our best to live with them in harmony and appreciation.

Linens/towels are provided – and there is a washer/dryer available for use when you need it. All beds and pillows have allergenic coverings.

We fell in love with Avondale Mountain because of its natural scenery, peaceful atmosphere and it's surprisingly close to downtown. Being able to walk to Shoji isn't too bad either!
