Sanibel Island Gulf Front Weekly Vacation Rental Condo. Sanibel Island is the perfect tropical island escape, world renowned for its shelling and pristine white sand beaches. From trying to catch a glimpse of a roseate spoonbill in J. N. "Ding Darling" National Wildlife Refuge to just kicking back and watching the coconut palms sway on your screened lanai, you can do as much or as little as you like.

Enjoy the short walk from your beach cabana directly to the beach in this 3 bedroom 2 bath gulf front vacation condo. The living room and screened lanai have views of the Gulf of Mexico and tropical landscape as well as access to the cabana from a spiral staircase. The master bedroom has sliding door access to the screened lanai as well as an en-suite with two sinks and a tub/shower combination. Unit 121 also has a remodeled and fully-equipped kitchen, 2 TVs, Stereo/CD player, washer/dryer, free wi-fi, guest bathroom with walk-in shower.

Bedding: K/TT/TT. Sleeps 6. No smoking permitted. 7 night minimum stay.

The Compass Pointe complex is a mid-size complex located on Middle Gulf Drive. It offers a heated swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, shuffleboard, gas BBQ grills and a boardwalk to the beach. It is centrally located to shopping, restaurants, 26 miles of paved bike paths, nature preserves, fishing, and golf.

Great beach - Condo okay

Overall, we had a nice week! Thanks to the owners for sharing their condo with us. However, we had issues from the first moment in the condo. The master bathroom toilet didn't work. After multiple plumbers, phone calls to property management, it still didn't work. The plumber destroyed the porcelain in the toilet. It was never resolved and we had to use the guest bathroom all week. There was supposed to be a key to the storage closet outside for more beach supplies, but it was nowhere to be found. The umbrella in the downstairs closet doesn't work, so we had to rent an umbrella for the week. The washer/dryer combo didn't work until I had to reset the breaker. The condo is tired and in need of upgrading, especially the toilets. Luckily we weren't in the condo that much. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach, shopping, food and drink. We will be back to Sanibel.
