Ready after Hurricane Ian. All surrounding neighbors have completed rebuilding so we have no banging or noise. Landscape is green and lush and our private unscathed beach will be greeting you in just a 7 minute walk. Welcome to Sanibel Island!!! Named “Shelling Capital of the World” by Martha Stewart! This newer built home is located on one of the most desired streets on Sanibel with private access to the most beautiful private beach that Sanibel has to offer! Chefs dream kitchen fully stocked for most cooking needs. Great dining room table that seats 6 and 3 additional stools at kitchen island, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, great back porch. Open concept home with spacious living room with one large couch and two armed chairs with ottomans for seating. Large curved-screen 65” tv in living room. Master bedroom has a king size bed, 55” tv and a dream bathroom with a deep soaking tub and a walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has a king bed and tv. Both spare bedrooms are joined by a jack n jill bathroom with a walk-in shower. Half bath in main living area. Top of the line washer and dryer. Just a short walk to the beach where there’s additional FREE parking. Pet friendly !! This home is on stilts, so stairs are required to climb to the front door and not handicap accessible. Covered parking for 3-5 cars!! This home is mid island, so your far away from the traffic but yet close enough to all the great restaurants and shopping. If you would like cleaning during your stay that can be arranged. Mermaid themed and very comfy cozy home that will make you feel like you’re living the true island life ! We call our home Beachy Keen !! Across the road is Ding Darling Wild Life Refuge, where you can see most of what nature has to offer in Southwest Florida ....alligators, birds, manatees, fish, dolphins and so much more !!! Also just 5 miles up the road the only Shell museum in the world !!!! If you’re a foodie, you’ll be in heaven with all the quaint restaurants on the island. And did you know about Sanibel Island having a dark sky compliance, which means no street lights anywhere on island making the stars at night… something out of this world!
After a hot day on the beach, cool down and rinse off outside in our outdoor (secluded) zen garden shower. Great way to end the day after the beach.

Wonderful Sanibel vacation house

Our month's stay was very enjoyable. The house is clean, well maintained and equipped - whimsical mermaid decor. The host is lovely and helpful. I'd highly recommend "Beachy Keen"!

Where did the Month Go?!!!

Enjoyed every minute in this beautiful home! The host was accessible and responsive; she thought of every detail. The beach was not crowded and was only a short walk. Our favorite spot was the wonderful, large screened porch - so comfortable and peaceful with the many visits from birds and breezes. Definitely a winner!

Wonderful Sanibel Home

We had a very comfortable and relaxing experience staying here. It’s a really lovely home at the quiet end of the island. Amedia thinks of everything and is quick to respond to any requests. She genuinely cares about the comfort of her guests. The access to a private beach is incredible! We took long walks there every day. I highly recommend this terrific home!

NEVER WANTED TO LEAVE!

Our Sanibel stay was absolutely perfect from the easy check-in to our departure. Knowing we'd spend a month in our rental, we did a lot of research & this place came out on top. The VRBO listing is accurate - you'll be delighted with the amenities, the cleanliness, the location, and most of all the host, who was simply the best. She answered our questions prior to our visit and was filled with good info our entire stay. The well-appointed kitchen made meal prep so easy. The bedrooms were spacious & the beds were extra comfy. Our favorite area was the large screened in porch - our go-to spot for coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. The private, neighborhood beach is a short walk away and is gorgeous for both sunsets and shelling. The host even provides a parking pass if you'd prefer to drive. She's thought of everything - restaurant tips, area attraction info, etc. You can tell this home is loved: it's warm and welcoming and you'd be foolish to look any further. This is a place our family would return and we're telling all our friends about it. We were beyond impressed and know you will be, too.
