The cottage at Robe was very well furnished and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed the garden and the bird life that visited. Our hosts communication was excellent.
Williamstone Cottage is a gem of a property in a wonderful location. The property decor and furnishings are lovely & the garden is excellent, especially for dogs & kids. Would happily stay again. Thanks Jo & Ben!
Beautiful old cottage close to everything in Robe. We loved the wood fire, claw bath and everything you could want was supplied. Being able to bring along our fur baby and have her inside was fantastic. The yard was also secure for her to run around. The main road into Robe is near the property but we didn't find it a problem at all and it was very quiet at night. The stunning Long Beach was a short 10 minute walk away. Also a shout out to the local wood fire pizza place, give them a whirl! Thank you Jo and Ben for sharing your beautiful home with us. We've made some wonderful memories.
Perfect pet friendly accommodation, secure yard, all the amenities you need, loved the fire place, very clean, cosy and warm, hope to get back there again soon.

About the host
Hosted by Jo and Ben
We are a family who love to travel, are avid snow skiers and surfers and have wonderful adventures together. We call Adelaide home. We are happy to share our beautiful old circa 1920's cottage in the seaside township of Robe on the Limestone Coast, South Australia with you. We have extended family who we love to share the cottage with.
Why they chose this property
We hope you enjoy staying in one of the original limestone cottages in Robe. We love the old trees which are over 80 years old, the generous fully enclosed lawned back garden and pretty cottage front garden. This house is a gorgeous slice of Robe history and we feel fortunate to be the current custodians. We are always gardening and planting new plants. We have an additional front block which we are slowly re-purposing and adding shrubs.
What makes this property unique
Our favourite walk starts in the corner of Long Beach, follows the one way road path to the The Outlet, across the foot bridge and then meanders all the way to town. We stop in town for a coffee and chat and then the return walk before lunch. In the evenings, we drive to Lipson Park next to the Robe Marina. We follow the Arthur Fennell Way boardwalk that edges the marina then cut across to the Robe Jetty. From here, follow the meandering path to the Obelisk and then onwards along the path toward Doorway Rock and watch the waves coming in to the limestone headland. Cut back through the streets to the complete the loop. Gorgeous.
