This house was our family home for ten years. Renovated 5 years ago this 1940's Queenslander was the original homestead when the area was just rolling hills filled with dairy cattle. Perched on the top of a hill the afternoon breezes are wonderful in what is now one of Brisbane's most sought after areas for real estate.
This home now consists of the original Timber Queenslander beautifully renovated with all the modern conveniences on the top floor; and on the ground floor is a separate modern two-bedroom self-contained apartment (Lone Pine Retreat). The whole house can also be rented and sleeps 15 in total (see Lone Pine House).

Kate has provided a perfect holiday haven for couples and families. The deck is perfect for entertaining just needs a bbq. Plenty of space too. Would recommend to any pet owners as well.
Renovated ‘Queenslander’ house with three bedrooms that we found comfortable for a family holiday in Brisbane. It was convenient for us because other family live in Enoggera. Had everything we needed for a week.

Fantastic
Lone Pine Lodge is a fantastic base for a Brisbane adventure. Fabulous facilities and close to all of Brisbane's attractions. I was participating in the 100km Oxfam trail walk and the property allowed my support crew to easily access all of the spots where I needed refreshments and support.
We spent 2 nights here with a family group of 8. It was very clean, spacious and had everything that we needed. This home was very comfortable and had plenty of dining table space and living room seating for us all to gather. It was located in a neighborhood setting and we walked to a nearby park to play some yard games with the kids. It was a great choice for what we needed.
Our group stayed in the whole house which worked really well for us. There is an internal staircase which made it very easy and comfortable. Bedrooms were well appointed, the kitchens are too. We ate shared meals at a long dining table and watched many games of the womens world cup on a big screen in the lounge room!
The accommodation was as advertised. The Unit had a good selection of cooking utensils, beds were comfy/
All was ideal for such a large group, and the property was close to where the wedding took place.
Thank you Kate, we enjoyed our stay.

The owner took her time responding no possible cancellation no off street parking definitely concerning if you hire a car not sure if its the season but had ant infestation in kitchen and then charged me extra to replace 3 bath towels and 4 face wash cloths because of stains from makeup and fake tan Im Maori so fake tan and make up is not necessary and the rest of the party were men and young boys 8,9,10 who tan naturally as well very happy with the outcome after I disputed but definitely will not recommend this property
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home very much. Fabulous location, the house was spotless, welcoming and super comfortable and had everything we needed with the added benefit of being pet friendly. Communication with Kate was seamless and we were very grateful to be able to access the garage area to assist with packing the car in the pouring rain! This place is a gem and we’ll be back!
We relocated for work from far north Qld, and Kate was beyond amazing all while she herself was on holiday. She was very helpful even when we extended then cancelled and extended again.
The home is a beauty with a night view and evening breeze to be spoilt with.
Spacious, private and the perfect home away from home.
Thank you Kate for making our move less daunting, you truely are an amazing bunch of chromosomes.
We highly recommend this haven.
