Stunning two bedroom / two bath condominium unit. Looking East over Southwest Harbor. Best sunrises on the island right from your deck!
Unit is fully furnished. Full kitchen, Dining area, full living room with TV, and WIFI. Wood burning stove in living room to take the chill out on a cool night.
Master bedroom suite has a king bed with adding master bathroom.
There are two full sizes beds in the second bedroom. Luxury sheets in both bedrooms.
Both bathrooms have walk in shower / tubs with luxury towels.
Unit has two decks - the one facing east has two lounge chairs and a table with seating for six.
The rear deck, accessible off the bedrooms has some patio furniture.
There is a washer and dryer located in the storage room. A BBQ grill is located in the garage. There is also a heated unground pool for your enjoyment! You also have access to the associations Pier and Dock.
This property has some of the best views on the island! Have your morning coffee on the deck overlooking Southwest Harbor - watch the daily ongoings of the harbor. Views of Cadillac Mountain to the Northeast.
Downtown Southwest Harbor is a ten minute walk away! Great restaurants and shops all within a ten minute walk.
The free Island Explore bus also stops out in front of the complex.
This unit is on "the quiet side" of the island - a fifteen minute drive to Acadia, twenty minutes to Bar Harbor and five minutes to Bass Harbor.

Great place with a fantastic view! The unit was very clean and organized. Location is great, lots to do near by (Acadia, Bar Harbor, etc.) We are an active family of 4 and we had everything we needed. Host was very responsive. Highly reccomend!

Another great stay.

We have stayed at Ted's place for the past couple years and it has been consistently a great experience, both staying at the condo and working with Ted, who has been flexible and helpful with anything we have needed quickly responded to any questions we have had. The condo unit itself is very spacious, clean, and has a view that is just the best. It is also located so close to everything that we love on the quiet side of the island and within easy walking distance to the town of SW Harbor. Wonderful experience and look forward to a return visit.

Perfect for a week's vacation

This was our second year staying at this condo and had wonderful experiences both ears. The view from the condo just simply can't be beat and I still miss it when we go home. Ted is extremely responsive and was super helpful especially given that we had some nerves this year about our travel experience and what things might be like up on MDI. We definitely hope to come back for a third year.

Nice Condo

We had a nice week staying at this property. My husband and I lived in Maine most of our lives. We love Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park and know the area well. The condo has a great view. We liked having big sliding glass doors at the front and back of the condo for good air circulation. It was warm the first part of the week, and the condo stayed comfortable with the sliders open. Beds were comfortable. Owner was very helpful and responsive. However, when we arrived, the condo had either not been cleaned or partially cleaned. Kitchen had 3 dirty pots and pans on stove , stove top looked like it was covered in cooking spray, counters dirty, bathrooms dirty, floors not vacuumed, etc.. our first impression wAs not favorable. For the first hour and a half my husband and I cleaned the Kitchen and baths. I notified the owner. We left to have dinner with family. The owner asked house cleaner to clean while we were out. Other straightening up a bit and taking care of towels and sheets left in washer and dryer, I could not see that much else was done. We eventually vacuumed and did some other miscellaneous cleaning during the week. I asked the owner to refund the cleaning fee which he did promptly. It was not a good way to start the week nor what I want to be doing on my vacation. I did not want to pay for cleaning that was never done, but refund of the fee was inconsequential. I assume this was an abnormal occurrence give the many favorable reviews.

This is the perfect retreat if you enjoy the outdoors! Best hiking on the east coast! Great bike riding on the carriage trails. Boating can't be beat.
Excellent restuarants with a short walk. And the views! You have to wake up early one morning to watch the sunrise from the deck - the show starts about 40 minutes before the published sunrise time - bring your camera with you! Simply amazing!

What makes this property unique

Only condo complex with a heated in-ground pool on the Island! Our own pier and dock - nice way to unwind in the after noon with a glass of wine!
