The Blue Ocean View Beach House is a well appointed, extremely comfortable beach holiday home offering stunning panoramas of Moreton Bay. Nestled above the Tangalooma Resort on Moreton Island, this hidden paradise is only a 60 minute ride on the Micat vehicle ferry or Tangalooma Flyer ferry from Brisbane.

Our holiday house is air-conditioned, has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry and family lounge room, plus an extra lounge area for the kids. The airy, open-plan design offers sweeping vistas across Moreton Bay no matter where you look.

The highlight of the beach house has to be the large deck/ verandah with 8 seat dining table and outdoor Weber BBQ, perfect for entertaining family and friends.

Guests of the Blue Ocean View Beach House are able to use the many facilities and activities offered by the Tangalooma Resort such as access to swimming pools, tennis courts, restaurants, bars, sailing, fishing, quad bike tours, kayak tours, marine life cruises, whale watch cruises etc

Please note that our beach house is fully made up for your stay with quality linen and bath towels at no extra costs to you. No need to make up beds when you arrive with linen packs that have added extra costs to your stay.

We had a great family holiday at the Blue House. House is well appointed and Melissa and Howard very helpful hosts. It was hard to leave those views but we hope to return soon.

The most spectacular views of Moreton Island. The house had everything, plus more, that we needed to stay and play on the Island. We would definitely stay here again. Loved it.

Perfect weekend escape

We (2 families - 4 adults, 4 kids aged 2-6) were fortunate enough to be able to take an unscheduled long weekend away and happened upon Blue Oceanview. Immaculately clean with enormous living areas and large decks with unbeatable views over Tangalooma Wrecks, this was the perfect base for a weekend of island adventuring.

Amazing property

My husband & I had a short break with our adult children. The home was amazing & we shared many nights looking at the amazing sunset enjoying a BBQ & a couple of drinks on the large balcony overlooking the bay. The house was away from the noise of the resort but close enough that we could go down & have a morning coffee or enjoy a cocktail in the afternoon.

Beautiful home with stunning views

The Blue Beach House at Tangalooma was the perfect accommodation and location for our family holiday. The home was fully equipped with everything we needed and our stay was so comfortable and enjoyable. The ocean view was incredible - so special to watch the sunset over the ocean and wake up to the beautiful outlook each morning. The checkin process was seamless and the hosts were extremely accommodating of our request to stay an additional night, and provided thorough information on getting around the island. We loved our stay and look forward to hopefully returning again one day :)

Amazing stay, excellent hosts, lots of equipment and activities

Melissa and Howard were excellent hosts. Lots of communication prior to the stay explaining best way to get to Tangalooma, what to expect, what to bring/not bring. Mini-bus to house provided, spacious house with lots of equipment and activities available (outdoor + indoor). Great view from the house and balcony, especially during sunset. Hosts met us at the house and walked through what could be used, drove us around in the buggy explaining where we could go, what we could do, and more. Overall an excellent house and hosts, would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.
