Offering a unique holiday experience. Leawarra is a beautiful 120 acre property just minutes south of the historic town of Willunga, making it a great base to explore the southern Fleurieu Peninsula. Willunga has some of the regions most acclaimed restaurants, wineries, cafes and the popular farmers markets held every Saturday. Just down the road is the world renown wine district of McLaren Vale. Some of the best beaches in SA are just 15 minutes away. Victor Harbor is a short drive for whale watching in winter, a lovely drive anytime with plenty to see and do, maybe a camel ride along the beach or check out Granite Island. A perfect location to stay for the Tour Down Under or any events held in Willunga or McLaren Vale. The two bedroom unit is fully self contained, with access to adjoining games room, has beautiful landscaped gardens - home to a wide variety of native birds and overlooks the large dam where you can try your hand at catch & release fishing. An ideal location for couples or families (CHILDREN 3 YEARS & OVER), to stay and relax or enjoy the many attractions on offer. For those looking for something a bit different, what about a scenic flight or joy flight from the Aldinga airfield just 10 minutes away. Formerly a sheep stud now running cattle. Our heifers enjoy being hand fed if you're looking for a hands on experience. A beautiful location any time of the year.

We enjoyed tbe quiet and serene environment. Farm tour was great.
Warm and cosy. Spent time at Willunga, Aldinga and McLaren Vale.
Tranquil Farm Stay
We had a lovely stay at Leawarra Farm in Pages Flat. The rooms are comfortable and warm in winter with AC. The bathroom is clean and modern with heat lamps. The house is sitting in a well-landscaped garden in the farm.
Carolyn and Harry are very hospitable and showed us around the house when we arrived. Harry took us around his farm and showed us his goats and cattle. It was very nice to get to know them and hear their stories living in SA. We wish to come back again in the future.
Good to hear Jessica and her parents had a good time. We have made every effort to make the unit as cosy as possible in winter and summer, with reverse cycle AC in both bedrooms and the living room. Plus there is a wood fire in the lounge room ready to walk in and light ( all wood supplied ), + heat lamps in the bathroom . Also if you like you can feed the mini goats and go for a ride in the ute to feed the cattle.
Relaxing getaway for summer and winter trips
Such a lovely getaway that was in close proximity to Aldinga Beach and other beautiful beaches. The owners were lovely and accommodating. Ideal for a summer or winter trip with its wood heater and indoor games room which has beautiful views of the lake. I’ll definitely be returning!
Thank you, we look forward to your next visit. Our beautiful local beaches are a great place to spend some time over summer. In winter the wood heater makes the lounge room a cosy place to be after a day of perhaps whale watching down at Victor Harbour, or a visit to one of the local wineries. At our place you can do as much or as little as you like.
Amazing stay with great hosts and bedding
We stayed a couple of nights at Carolyn's and Harry's place. It was really really good. It is a very convenient house with all the comfort necessary. The house is in the mountains so it is really great to enjoy the countryside.
Carolyn and Harry live nearby so very helpful and they gave us great tips, plus they have got animals (Goats, cows, etc.) so it offers farmhouse experience too.
And it is very close to McLaren Vale and the beaches :)
Last but not least, we absolutely loved the bedding which is of fantastic quality!
Thank you for your positive feedback Julien. It was a pleasure to meet you and host you. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and would be more than happy to host you again sometime.
We know how important to have a comfortable, good quality bed when your away from home to get a good nights sleep.
Easter on a Working Farm
We spent two nights on the farm, visiting Adelaide where we have our daughters and their families. We wanted to enjoy peaceful surroundings in the vicinity of McLaren Vale and with an option to spend time on probably the best beach in the area (Port Willunga). Above all we wanted to show our grandchildren what the working farm is all about. Our hosts - Harry and Carol - were welcoming and they took trouble to take the kids on board and let them feed the goats and cows. The kids (6, 8 years of age) were delighted. Harry shared some stories of his life and experience in farming and landscaping. He is definitely a gifted landscaper as is demonstrated by beautiful garden at the back of the house.
However, what is is disappointing dealing with HomeAway is the fact that at the time of writing this review (7th April) we still have not received our bond money of $400 back, nor any indication when is this to happen. We left the farm on the morning of 2nd April. This is not the way to run the business.

Our location is ideal for those wanting to explore the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. We are close to world renowned wineries and restaurants, cafes and shops in Willunga and McLaren Vale. The popular Willunga Farmers Market is held every Saturday and has a great array of produce. We are also close to stunning beaches at Aldinga, Pt Willunga and Sellicks. Iconic Victor Harbor isn't far away where you can check out Granite Island, or pat a koala at Urimbirra Wildlife park and feed the kangaroos, or if you visit in winter go whale watching. If you would like to see the rolling hills, vineyards and stunning coastline from above then Adelaide Biplanes is a must for a scenic flight or joy flight. There is a lot to do and see on the fleurieu.
