Pearl on Newell Beach 26 Rankin Street, Newell Beach QLD 4873
Pearl on Newell Beach holiday house is a luxurious holiday home situated directly on tropical Newell Beach. Set on 1,100 square metres of absolute beach front, the beautifully appointed, private home has been designed for comfortable living in both the dry season and the wet season. Could this be your next luxury escape?
The impressive, secure gated driveway leads you to a front door flanked by pots filled with purple blooming water lilies. Enter through the double front door and this stunning house opens up. One can immediately see past the tropical gardens, onto the sparkling, swimming pool and then through to the beach.
This luxe beach house, filled with locally inspired art, is made up of 2 king size beach facing bedrooms, each with outside living areas, large en suites and walk in robes. There are a further 2 king size bedrooms and a 3rd large bathroom containing a spa bath and generous shower. Pearl has 2 separate large living areas both with televisions and Foxtel.
For those sharing the house with kids, the adults may choose to relax in the sophisticated living area which overlooks the refreshing pool. The second living room is filled with colourful, bright cushions on a large couch and perfect for the kids to watch a movie. This spacious house easily accommodates everyone.
A galley kitchen is the heart of this home, and a delight to cook in. The benchtop bi-fold doors open up onto a breakfast bar and courtyard with tropical gardens and being undercover allows the kitchen to be open all year round. From the kitchen one can see the stunning pool, entertain guests in the courtyard or talk to those relaxing in either living room. The kitchen, which is a design feature, easily allows the chef to entertain whilst preparing a gourmet meal.
Outside Pearl has 150 square metres of undercover dining and living area. Although there is a formal dining area inside that seats up to 10 people, you may wish to embrace the tropical lifestyle and eat alfresco. With 2 outside dining tables that seat up to 8 people, the kitchen easily services the first outside dining area situated adjacent to the pool and garden. The second dining area is within the pool area and can be serviced by the outside kitchen which includes a gas barbeque, bar fridge and sink.
Another option is the over-water-pavilion that sits above the pool and next to the beach. This is the perfect place for a private breakfast with the resident kookaburras or to soak up the ambience at sunset on a warm, tropical evening. Whether it’s the wet or the dry season there is a place for you.
Spend your days unwinding by the pool, exploring the beautiful Daintree rainforest, visiting the world-renowned Great Barrier Reef or take a 20-minute taxi into Port Douglas and have a long, lazy lunch in one of the fine restaurants. If you don’t feel like cooking, we can organise your own chef to prepare an in-house degustation dinner or cocktail night. For those who like to be pampered consider a spa treatment in the comfort of your retreat.
Ensuring that you can stay for as long as you like there is a fully equipped laundry with washing machine and dryer.
The owners love this private, idyllic tropical hideaway and are sure that you will too.

A beautiful place! Perfect for entertaining and away from the hustle and bustle of port Douglas!
We loved the pool and walking on the beach. Thanks Wendy for all your help
Great house and excellent communication and response. Only negative comment is to ensure basic commodities and washing supplies are sufficient. Hi level water alarm also repeatedly activated during the night and should be dealt with.
After being informed of the property access, we were surprised to find it all closed up, on entry we realised why, it appeared as if the property had not been used in a long time. It had a dank musty smell, it was dirty and was not in any way representative of the on line photos. The property may have been a Pearl at some point but it is far from it. There was sick on the tiles outside, the BBQ area was disgusting, the air con did not work in one of the rooms, the lost hatch was open, dirty towels left in washing machine and the main tap to the sink was extremely loose. The pool was green and outside areas needing some urgent tlc. All reported to host who was not interested. We did not stay one single night and were forced to find alternative accomodation at short notice. Let down badly by Stayz/Vrbo.
This home was fantastic! The rooms were so well spaced out -- our group of 4 adults and 4 kids felt quite at home, with plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor area is spectacular -- kids loved the heated pool as well as the beautiful beach, where they spent hours building forts with driftwood. It was a bit of a hike for getting to/from Cairns but easy access to Port Douglas and Mossman Gorge.

Excellent Property with the WOW Factor!
Our business partnered with Pearl to provide a week long wellness retreat for Mental Health Professionals. We chose Newell Beach for it's seclusion and access to a wide range of cultural, adventure and world class environmental activities.
After a beautiful drive along the coastal road from Cairns we arrived at Pearl. 'Wow', was the first response from all guests as we were shown through by the host. It is right on the beach but set back a little which provides some privacy. It has large open living indoor/outdoor areas with plenty of spaces for us to find our own relaxing spot. The bedrooms and ensuites are spacious and luxurious and the kitchen in the middle of the home provided a natural meeting point at meal times. The pool is large and most nights we cooked and ate al fresco in the BBQ area.
We had dinner at Silky Oaks, a beautiful restaurant in the rainforest overlooking the Mossman River. Each day we had a teacher to take us through a meditation class in the mornings, and a masseuse visit for massages in the pavilion next to the pool. Most days were finished with wellness walks along Newell Beach. A highlight was certainly the paleo cooking class and dinner on the last night.
We look forward to partnering with Pearl for future retreats.

Heaven on earth
If you're looking for the perfect escape to Tropical Nth QLD you can't go past Pearl on Newell Beach. A beautiful beachfront property positioned just nth of Mossman, a short drive to the shops and an easy 15min drive to Port Douglas. If you're looking for a night out, shuttle busses pick you up and return on demand. Only 30kms north of Newell beach is the beautiful Daintree rainforest.
'Pearl' accommodation, similar to a beautiful modern large villa in Bali in style, offers multiple living and dining areas inside and out, 2 large bedrooms with king size beds, walk in wardrobes and full ensuite and 2 large bedrooms each with 2 single beds and a 3rd large central bathroom.
Pearl is quality throughout with a perfect layout for two families of four or a group of up to 8 friends
The outdoor areas are amazing with a full outdoor BBQ/kitchen and a large pool nestled in beautiful tropical gardens. Just beyond the pool is a large play area great for the kids which leads onto the beach
I recently had the pleasure of spending 4 glorious nights there and look forward to the day I can return to experience it all over again.... I give it a 10/10!
