***** The Pineapple Bungalow was built in 1940 and was the model home for the small beach Bungalows in Old Town Seal Beach. The home has lots of old-style charm, with many modern touches. We loved the Vintage vibe and kept the house intact where we added modern feel, while keeping the 40's charm. The Bungalow has been professionally decorated with a true Tommy Bahama feel. The Bungalow is a single-story home with 2 bedrooms & 1bath. We have added skylights to the home to bring in the natural light.
*The first Bedroom has a Queen size bed, ceiling fan and 2 large double hung windows for wonderful breezes.
*The 2nd bedroom has two twin beds, with extra attention to the mattresses for adult comfort. This 2nd bedroom also has a 30" TV, ceiling fan, with large window & large closet.
* The kitchen is fully appointed with every item to cook a wonderful meal. Includes, dishwasher, gas range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, ice maker, with a washer & dryer. We provide Keurig, French Press & regular coffee maker for the true coffee lovers. The dining area will seat 6 people comfortably.
* The Living room has a gas fireplace for those nights when you want to enjoy the evening by the fire. We offer 40"Flat screen TV & DVD player above the fireplace. The living room has many windows that allow wonderful breezes and light into this very relaxing room. Lots of seating for family TV night or vacation conversations about the day at the beach. This room has twin-size pull-out sofa sleeper.
**The bathroom is very modern with a sophisticated design of glass/ tile, full size tub/shower, skylight and window.
The house is appointed with detail for a true vacation stay. We offer Free - Wi-Fi, Parking Pass, Washer & Dryer. Most of all wonderful Pacific Ocean breezes. BBQ on the rooftop deck that is shared with both Cottages on the property.
*Relax on the deck while watching the sunset. Shared deck with both cottages on the property. The deck has no Ocean views available - but you are just a 3 min walk to the Ocean & Boardwalk.
We are just steps to the Boardwalk and Ocean. Main street is just a 5 min walk for Shopping / Dining or a nice Pier walk. We provide beach chairs/umbrella and sand toys for the kids. Seal Beach is uniquely situated in Orange County where we are close to the 405-22 and 605 freeways and just min from 3 major Airports. (LAX approximately 25 miles) (Long Beach 5 miles) & (Santa Ana/John Wayne 15 miles) Once you arrive at the house you will be provided a parking pass & all of the great adventures are very close - Disney Land is about 11 miles away, Queen Mary, Long Beach Aquarium, Knott's Berry Farm, Soak City, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Dodger & Angels Stadium, Rose Bowl Swap meet, Anaheim Packing Plant, Catalina Island, Universal Studios, The famous LA Farmers Market where the Stars hang out, The Long Beach Grand Prix. We are just short miles away from other beach cities on Pacific Coast Highway. Check out Long Beach, Surfside, Sunset, Huntington, Newport, Corona Delmar, Laguna, Dana Point, San Clemente & the list goes on for some great beach coast drives.
The Pineapple Bungalow is about 30 steps to the Pacific Ocean's sandy beach & is located at the back of the property on Ocean Avenue. Once you park your car for the week, you will be able to walk anywhere throughout the town in just five minutes. This is where you will find the quaint old town of Seal Beach. Main Street has many restaurants for you to enjoy or walk on the pier. Relax at the Cottage Spa or enjoy the local nursery. In the summer enjoy music @the pier. A full-service Pavilion’s grocery store with a Starbucks inside, where you may choose to order your groceries online, and have your food delivered to your door.
