Beautiful setting in a great location

The gardens are well maintained with care which really makes it feel like a home, not just a house. Very comfortable bed and a well equipped kitchen with amble room and nice furniture.

Echuca mid week getaway

The property was perfect for what we were after, it is in great location, with a short bushwalk out the back to the main town. Very neat an clean, warm and comfortable beds. All up an excellent couple of nights away.

Location and Comfort

This was our second year at Echuca Retreat Cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is in a prime location close to town and the boat ramp and caters for the whole family. Property manager Sash is very easy to deal with.

Fabulous

Everything about this place is wonderful! It’s spotless and the beds are very comfortable. It was delightful to sit out on the huge verandah and listen to the birds. We loved it. Sasha, too is very easy to communicate with and very helpful.

Labour day weekend

Comfortable simple property close to the town with easy access to the river (if boating). Very helpful and available host. Overall had a good enjoyable stay. The only shortcoming for us was the neighbour's dog at night (at times).

Great place to stay!

This property is in a fantastic location within walking distance of Echuca Town centre and very close to a boat ramp. The house is well set out with a main bedroom and ensuite at one end and the other bedrooms and bathroom on the other end. All linen, towels, pillows, blankets, quilts provided which makes for light packing for your holiday. Surrounded by bushland makes it very relaxing and is great for walks. Sasha is very easy to deal with and responded to messages quickly while booking and while we were at the property. Would definitely stay again!

Getaway with friends

The position was ideal for our group of 3 - very quiet street, close to the bush, 10 minute walk to a shopping centre, 2 minute walk to a bakery/cafe, 5 minute drive to the railway station and Main Street. The house was roomy, very comfortable beds and furniture, lots of cupboards for storage, able to keep the house lovely and cool with evaporative air conditioning, fans in bedrooms and lots of windows that opened as it was humid weather. Nothing wanting. Perfect for our stay.

Good stay

Nice location. Bed was bit hard for our liking. Some day night blinds would be good for privacy especially with neighbours close. Bathroom would feel better with some stick on frostings on windows as another guess said in her review. Overall a nice property. Thank you.

House was very clean but outside table chairs and barbecue area not cleaned covered in months of dus

Great home but on a very noisy busy road with public walkway and bike path behind property not much privacy when on verandah, lots of people walking dogs riding bikes running etc past home. Not very private for an idyllic country property stay,

Great location

Great location backs on to the bush so easy access to walking trails. Has everything you need overall a nice house. DVD library is great. One issue for me but not maybe for others was the windows at the rear of the house are not covered so neighbours can see in the bathrooms. Also there is a unit connecting to the house although unoccupied at the time and would be blocked off by a gate it is not on the listing.

House was clean and inviting. Lovely gardens and great outlook. Plenty of room for myself and my colleagues. It would generally be a good thing if the advertised price was accurate tho. More charges are added if all rooms are used. (a bit of extra price shock)

A best -for- summer-house.

We arrived during a particularly cold spell and there were plenty of heaters and electric blankets. Tea towels were limited and though clean were stained with mildew marks. There were no pot-holders and lifting the cooking pots with a folded tea-towel needed care to prevent the tea-towel catching alight The front door lock failed and the owner found a locksmith very promptly and was concerned that the work was completed quickly.. Echuca is a lovely place. .

Most enchanting evenings

Unbelievable experience at such an enchanting property with the open reserve land besides it, the morning sunrise was absolutely stunning and a cuppa to add to the start to the day. My friends and I have had the best experience of Sunday on a holiday, the mass, the RSL Lunch, the flea market, fishing and finally Dan Murphy's. Not to mention, Sash help 5 star.
