This cute, sunny, pet-friendly cottage is in a lovely bush setting in a quiet cul-de-sac close to everything Mangawhai has to offer. Its a 5 minute walk to the shops and golf course and a 10-15 minute walk to the estuary and Mangawhai Activity Zone. The surf beach and markets are just over 5 minutes away by car.
The cottage has 'Retro' styling, easy care floors and is light and airy and is truly a retreat for all seasons. In the summer, fling the doors open to give great indoor/outdoor flow. Set up the outside dining and entertain away or for those wanting a slightly more sedate approach, kick back in the hammock with a good book. In the cooler months, if its cosy you want, crank up the fire, there is wood a plenty for guest use and settle down to a large selection of films or family games.
If its activities you enjoy then feel free to use the bikes and paddleboards (soft roof bars available if you don't have them) and there is a range of safety gear available for both.
Security is important for little ones or pets so we've got that covered too, whilst the overall section is open in keeping with the area, there is a gate that can be added to the front deck to fully enclose the area.
If you are bringing your own toys, there is plenty of storage and parking for your stay.
Inside, this bach features 3 bedrooms - one with a Queen and Single trundler, one with a Double and Single trundler, and the third with 2 Single beds, suiting a family or a small group of mature couples.

Small dogs may be able to get through the gap between the railings of the gate on the deck.

LINEN OPTIONS: To keep your holiday more affordable, for this property we offer linen as an optional extra for guests who prefer to bring their own. If you choose to bring your own linen, you will need to supply top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and bath mats. Pillows, Duvets and Duvet covers will be provided.
Alternatively, a rental linen package is available for $25 per person. To request this service, please add a note to your booking specifying the number of people requiring linen and which beds you would like prepared.
BOOKING PAYMENT: Although your credit card details are taken during the booking process, we won't automatically charge your credit card. Once your booking is approved we will send you a payment email with a choice of credit card payment (a 3% surcharge applies) or bank transfer (no charges).
