Hi Debra, I'm disappointed to hear that your expectations were not met, as we pride ourselves on providing a quality experience. We were only too happy to offer late checkout to compensate for your concerns and have passed on feedback to the property management provider. We hope to welcome you back the next time you choose the Lake Eildon area.
The house was perfect, very clean and was better than we expected only down side was there was no tea towels, and our stay was four days and there was 6 adults and 1 child and there was only two tablets for the dishwasher and only one sachet for the dishes to be washed manually.
Everything else was perfect
Stayed over the Anzac Day weekend with extended family including older (70s) and kids (8-12 year olds). All able to find something fun to do. Dad caught a carp. We collected wood for an outside fire and toasted marshmallows. Also hired kayaks from the Jameison Caravan Park with pick up at the Jameison Brewery. House was well equipped for cooking and the gorgeous kitchen bench was where we ended up eating most for meals. Would have used the outside dining table if it was warmer! The wood fire heater and reverse air conditioning kept things toasty indoors. Lovely spot to hang out with family and we were at one point visited by 7 kookaburras whilst out on the deck. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much Huey, for your lovely review. We're glad you had a pleasant stay. It was my pleasure having you stay at Paradise Retreat Lakehouse, and I am so happy the beautiful birds popped in for a visit. We hope to see you back soon. Thank you once again Jennifer
This property was perfect! Myself and a group of friends went down for a couple of nights to have some fun on the lake. The weather was brisk but sunny and the house was perfect. The indoor fireplace and the heaters was great against the cold. The beautiful kitchen had everything that we needed for cooking large amounts of food. the design was stunning. The tea and coffee bench was greatly utilised. Love the big windows from the floor to the calling. The place was clean and tidy. The instructions were clear about house management and rules. Direct access to the lake was amazing so we could launch a jet ski right from the backyard. We were able to have a fire by the lake which was perfect. Overall amazing stay, stunning property and very happy!

We were hosting a 30th birthday celebration for our son for family and friends. We live very close by. It was a joy to be able to host some family and friends in a beautiful and comfortable home just a few metres from our own. A comfortable bed for everyone and stunning lake and bush views in a tranquil setting - thank you for a lovely weekend.
This is a holiday home you will not forget. It is beautifully situated on the lake, complete with a charming old garden that was lovingly created.
The house is very well presented and comfortable.
It is close to Jamieson township, which is a really charming and interesting old gold town. The Jamieson Brewery is very close with good food, beer and views.
We really enjoyed our time there and were sorry to leave.
We will definitely book again. Ideal quiet and picturesque location with direct access to the water. Large living areas and bedrooms, comfortable beds with all of the comforts you need. We had an amazing stay as our first break out of lockdown and it could not have been better. Thankyou to our hosts.
Great simple home with lots of space for the family to play , eat in a separate enclosure and also sleep comfortably in the quiet of the bush. Pity about the insufficient water in the lake which would have enabled some of us to go kayaking. Overall a lovely time spent with the family and yes we will come back another time.
Perfect family holiday house! The view of the lake is stunning and the rooms are generous and comfortable. Kayaks in the lake each morning, off to Jamieson for a swim in the river and lunch at the pub.... perfect escape from the city!! Thank you for sharing your house!
