Great property for two adults and four teenagers, large house, great amenities, fantastic location.Lots of wonderful wildlife in the area too (Echidna’s across the road)
Located in West Hobart at the top of a hill we had great views and quick access to Hobart city centre, foreshore and trips out of town. Plenty of room for a family of five to have their own space, well serviced kitchen and bathrooms as well as verandah to relax on.
We were a group of 8 ladies and we all loved the house. One of our party has an allergy to certain bedding and the host Shelley bought new bedding to suit her without any qualms. There are a lot of stairs but the views are amazing
Shelley, our host, was super proactive in ensuring we were set for our stay checking we were set for our arrival and making suggestions on local events during our stay. The property was clean and the kids loved the wallaby visits to the area next door to the house. We cannot wait to come back.
My family of 7 adults and 2 children had a very comfortable stay at this house. The owner was prompt and very helpful at any time we asked for information or advice. The house is set up to be everything you need to be warm and relaxed in a cold Hobart day.
We had a great time property was just perfect, my son left his watch behind and the owner rang us to advise we came back and picked it up very honest and Thankyou
We recently stayed here as two families with kids, and overall, it was a nice experience! The upstairs part of the house was spacious and well laid out. The split-level design did make the rest of the house feel a bit different, and the steep driveway took some getting used to. However, the stunning views more than made up for it. The host was fantastic—super easy to contact and very quick to respond, which we really appreciated. The only downside was some of the unusual house rules regarding noise and the presence of noise and guest sensors throughout the house, which made us feel a little uncomfortable. That said, the house worked really well for two families like ours, and we enjoyed our stay.

Thanks for the review Bec. We only have two noise sensors, one in the kitchen/dining and the other on the deck. They do not record any conversations just monitor noise levels and this is to stop parties.

Amazing Property! Wonderful host!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property and the host was amazing. The pictures do not do it full justice... the views are incredible, the space is ample (we had six in our party), and the setting is amazing! We couldn’t believe the fact that wallabies wander into the backyard in the evening, just like squirrels back home. What a treat for the kids!
The host, Shelley, went above and beyond from the beginning of our visit. She met us personally, toured us through the space, and offered up suggestions for food and places to visit. We were pleasantly surprised to find oatmeal, fruit, and a well stocked pantry at our disposal. She checked in via email to make sure we were settling in well. Could not have had a better host!!
Thank you, Shelley, for your hospitality! We loved our time in Hobart!

Thanks carrie, So glad u liked my place and hobart, It was lovely to meet u and your family and friends.
AMAZING views over Hobart, very conveniently located only a 5-minute drive or half hour walk to the CBD, and spotlessly clean on arrival. The host allowed us to check in early, set up a porta cot for us, and was very responsive. Would be great for families wanting to stay together because of the separate areas with 2 bedrooms downstairs. The hot water, spa and showers were great. Great heating in the house but for the bedrooms without heating make sure you use the electric blankets as it can get quite cold at night. There were no materials provided to use the fireplace, we ended up buying our own firewood and fire starters but didn’t use it for very long once we realised there were no pokes etc provided, so if you are wanting a fireplace it might be best to find another property or ask the host to provide this in advance. There were notes to inform us that the property had noise sensors to avoid parties, and also something monitoring the devices in the house. This made us feel a bit uncomfortable and like we were being monitored. The listing clearly states that large events are not allowed so this felt a bit unnecessary. Presumably there is a level of noise to be expected when up to 12 people are getting together with music or footy on the TV, a few drinks etc, but we were wondering if we were making too much noise and how many devices we were allowed in the house. It was just a bit off putting, but didn’t cause us any dramas. Overall we had a good stay!

Glad you had a good stay. As we discussed the noise sensor is up very high inside as we do expect a certain amount of noise for up to 12 people and babies/children it’s only to deter people from having parties.
It also doesn’t record conversations it only keeps track of decibel levels.
Shelley was an amazing host, even bought us electric blankets because it was so cold! Perfect location and the house was just what we needed for the 10 of us. The views from the balcony were beautiful, we loved our stay will definitely stay here again .
We were a group of 9 including grandparents, parents and kids. Heaps of room, plenty of games and a Wii. Didn't see the kids except when they were hungry. Great place and Shelley made sure we had everything we needed.
A fantastic base for exploring Hobart. Great for larger groups. Driveway is a bit challenging, very steep and narrow, but could have easily parked on the street.
Shelley was so helpful with everything, House was very spacious and well equipped, would have been nice if the deck was alittle bigger to sit out and enjoy the view alittle more. otherwise highly recommended.
Thanks Shelley for a fantastic stay and for your hospitality. Such a great house with lots of space for a large group. The house was well appointed with good supplies of all you need - and a lovely bottle of wine to welcome us. Great views and surroundings. Would definitely stay here again! Great value too!
Fantastic sized house for families, has everything. The games (mini table tennis/eightball, plus board games, Wii) were a hit with our group. Very close to CBD. The only down we found is the driveway, very steep, but parking available on the street.
