We received a warm welcome where we were introduced to a very clean and comfortable home. The house is quiet, well located and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay for my family and dog.

Thank you so much for the great review. I hope you visit us again. We are always very happy when nice guests come back.
The owners were very nice . The house was very clean and well furnished. My son is 12 and loved fishing in the canal and kayaking. My daughter‘s 12 and 15 also loved it. Plenty of stuff for children to do. The pool was very clean as well as the property. It was definitely a great experience but highly recommend this.
The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking on the canal. It was nice having kayaks and pool floats for our use. The owners were very nice and helpful.
My husband and I came for a quiet weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday. The house was nice, spacious and had everything we needed. It is in a good location, not too far from bars and restaurants. My favorite part was the pool area, where we spent most of the time. Overall we had a really nice time and look forward to coming back soon.

Thank you so much for your nice review, I hope you visit the house again.
The property is very nice an roomy... Hilda an Ron the owners were very pleasant.. A lil hicup with AC but owner addressed it. I will be back maybe by my self but thank you very much.. an there was a lil family of burrowing owls in the area very neat to watch...
when we arrived, we were greeted by Hilda. She was very prepared to answer our questions. We were delighted to see how clean and well maintained the home was. The home is located on a quiet street but close to lots of restaurants and grocery stores. Both Hilda and Ronnie were helpful but not intrusive. I gladly give them 5 stars.
This was a relaxing home in a quiet neighborhood. The pool was nice & heated fairly quickly & our son enjoyed fishing from the canal even tho he didn’t have any luck. It is a short drive to any of the beaches.
The home is modestly decorated, plenty of bath & kitchen towels & the kitchen is stocked well. The grill & fridge in the pool area came in handy.
They provided several games & chairs/cooler for the beach, but bring or buy your own beach towels.
There were some leftover condiments from previous guests so remember that when shopping . I placed a couple orders with Publix & they delivered to our door.
They do take a pic of the electric meter & you pay additional for usage during your stay.
Over all it was a very nice relaxing place to stay.

Thank you for your review. We bought most of the spices because we provide a basic stock. When guests buy additional spices, we naturally leave them in the house for subsequent guests so that they have more choice. In your case it was one spice from previous guests. Please do not forget that this is a vacation house, not an all inclusive hotel. We cannot provide something like that with our prices. 25 kWh per day are included in the rental price, if you need more electricity we have to charge this. We want to offer our guests a good price, so we make the effort to read the meter. There are additional payments only if guests need the pool heater or do not pay attention to keep the doors closed when the air conditioning is on.
The house is nice and spacious. It is close to major streets, making getting around easy, but there is some traffic noise from Cape Coral Parkway.
It sits on a very nice canal. The pool area is wonderful, with a large gas grill. With the Covid, we grilled meat for dinner all but a few days of a three week stay.
The house opens up to it the pool area.
There is a daily allowance for electric usage, but you will have to pay a bit extra to heat it during the winter months. Once we got the pool to 82 degrees, the heater would only run a couple hours in the morning to bring it back up the 2-4 degrees it lost overnight. It was well worth it though - no sense renting a house with a pool if you don't use it.
Previous reviews mentioned not having sharp knives, so we brought a couple of ours from home and were glad we did. There were plenty of dishes and glasses.
The house really needs a blender for whipping up tropical drinks!!
Hilde and Ronny were fine hosts, meeting us at check in/check out. Hilde texted us a couple times just to make sure all was well.

The house is located in a very quiet area, but is still very central. I have never heard noise from the Cape Coral Pkwy at the house because the Cape Coral Pkwy is two streets away. The pool pump runs daily from 8am to 5pm, during this time the pool heater can be operated. At the customer's request, we can easily extend the running time of the pool pump, the additional consumption must be paid by the guests, as this cannot be calculated as a flat rate. Every guest has a different energy requirement, so the average energy requirement is included in the booking price. In the house there is a knife block with sharp knives in the kitchen, which can of course be used. We will provide a mixer for the following guests.
The contract provided by the owner was very detailed to the point of being intimidating for some. The pool, which was supposed to be heated, was only 70 degrees on our arrival. The heater never caught up and we didn't want to pay extra for heating it as the owner had a stipulation that over a certain amount used, the renter pays. The owner did respond very quickly when we reported a problem with the pump on the pool. In the master bathroom, there were signs that mold has been an issue on the trim by the shower and on the shower curtain. There was also no place to set a towel to use after coming out of shower. If this is a house for four -six people, there is not enough furniture The couches are low as well as the toilets which could be an issue for older clientelle. The kitchen chairs are not very sturdy. There was not garbage disposal.
The owner does the checkin and check out. She is friendly.

The rental agreement is automatically sent to upon booking and must be approved by the guest in VRBO. You could have canceled free of charge when you booked. The house has been correctly described as having a heater ready for use. Unfortunately I can't influence the weather because we had a cold front with overnight lows of about 35 degrees. A pool heater can heat the pool at most 1 degree per hour. I am very sorry that I have no control over the weather. I wish I had it. The house has no mold anywhere and no mold has ever appeared since I've owned the house. In addition, all bathrooms are always cleaned with chlorine. The Master Bathroom has Towel Bar on the Wall and on the Door. The house is equipped exactly as can be seen in the pictures.

Read This Review Before Renting This Property
VRBO only allows so many words in their review, so we had to remove a lot of what we wanted to say. But here it is. The house was very clean and exactly as pictured. Hilde was very kind and polite the entire time. Here were the BIG problems. She locked the thermostat to 76 degrees and would NOT turn it down during the day. It was TOO HOT in the house. We were told to use the celing fans which cost more electicity. Be advised, there is a security cam directed at the pool area to "protect their pool supplies". They are currently under investigation for that. If you are bringing a pet or pets, ask about that sales tax because she won't mention it to you. Also, you can ONLY pay for the pet fee once you get there and it has to be cash or check. Be advised, we would have NEVER rented this prop if we knew the thermostat would be locked at 76deg, we never would have rented the place. Nothing in the contract about the temp.

Unfortunately, the air conditioner cannot be set more than 25 degrees below the outside temperature or it will break. The Air Conditioner Company told us that we have to follow this rule or this Air Condition get damaged how the last one. This house is very cold even at 80 degrees because it is a concrete house and has hurricane windows. Of course, in addition to the air conditioning, we have ceiling fans that can be used if the guest want it to more colder than 75 or 76 degrees. The ceiling fans use a lot less energy than the air conditioning. We have a security camera pointed at the pool equipment only, as described in the lease and agreed upon with the tenants, as there are gangs that steal them (pool heater costs $3K). Pets must be booked and paid in VRBO Tool with tax, unfortunately the tenant had not done this, but arrived with pets.
We had such a great time and cannot wait to stay here again. Our host Hilde was there to meet us and walk us through any intricacies with the property (trash times, pool, use of grill on patio, etc.) Hilde was wonderful and very kind. The place is very clean and had everything you need to make dinners or just order take-out from a local place. All bedding was nice and fresh and all appliances were in great shape. The pool was amazing and clean. We even saw a big iguana sitting on the canal wall one day. I highly recommend staying here.
We really liked this place, quiet, comfortable, and a couple of owls, which was always waiting for us at the house, brought a special flavor to this place. The pool is clean, the grill is great, the access to the canal makes this place also remarkable. It is a pity that we did not manage to go kayaking more on these channels, because there was a rich program on the beaches. The only thing I didn't like was the uncomfortable pillows and bedding, but this is our personal sensitivity)
Owners were very nice and easy to work with. The house was clean, well maintained and fully supplied. With VRBO, you bring your own paper supplies. The dock behind the house provided us with days of fishing! Caught mangrove snapper and snook. The lanai was our hangout when it got too hot. This was our fourth stay on VRBO PROPERTIES AND WE LIKED THE AREA SO MUCH THAT WE’RE THINKING OF MOVING THERE! Nice quiet neighborhood, stores close by, and restaurants that we enjoyed. There are small owls living in a burrow out front, as well as a rabbit warren in the culvert at the end of the drive. This vacation was just what we needed and we’ll definitely be back! Thanks Ronnie and Hilde for letting us stay there!
Great pool, neighborhood convenient to restaurants, on a canal
Very clean, check in was easy, contacted manager for toaster,it was replaced next day, pool had a deep end and was very clean, Burrowing owl on property, so interesting. Canal wasn't too busy.
The house was clean, well stocked with anything needed for the stay, located in a nice, safe neighborhood located close to the beach, shopping and great places to eat.
