Amazing Ansons Bay Beach house is a absolute waterfront new stylish house with great water views There is not even a road in front of the house , just walk down the path with a handrail about 30 metres to the beach and boatshed . The boatshed houses bikes and kayaks with safety vests for you to use at your leisure . Just a matter of sliding the kayaks about 4 metres across the sand to the water
Awesome views from bottom deck lounge kitchen which only gets better as you go up to the bedrooms There is a bathroom on 2 levels
Ansons Bay has a boat ramp that gives you access to the bay where due to its remoteness has great fishing
Ansons Bay is a sleepy little fishing village with little vehicular traffic and extremely peaceful . There is plenty to explore with Policemans Point beaches and Eddystone lighthouse and beaches nearby You can launch your boat at Eddystone Point to go deep sea fishing in the right conditions You can also launch directly into the bay and fish safely but the bar entrance to the bay can be very tricky and only for the most experienced boaties . The bay itself can be fished safely in nearly all conditions . If you are adventurous we are sure you will love the location and house We wish you the best stay of your trip
You have the complete house to use for yourselves The house comes with linen and towels and essentials Also free use of bikes and kayaks stored in boatshed in front of house We also have a mooring for you to use in front of house to save you launching your boat each time you want to fish You can see your boat from anywhere on the house front.
Ansons Bay is unique in the way that you are surrounded by national park , the bird life is prolific . It is a friendly little community village You will have black swans and pelicans swimming past nearly every morning and many other sea birds and also wrens honeyeaters etc.
The only way to Ansons Bay is by car , 2 wheel drive is suitable although you will have about 30klm of dirt road . Probably why the bay is so unique .We suggest you don't travel at dusk to dawn as the wildlife is prolific with plenty of wallabies , tasmanian devils and wombats trying to cross the road , You will have no Wi Fi at the house but you can get it at connection cove just up the hill , about 750 metres There is TV and cd player as well The house is sewered We are on tank water so ask you use the water appropriately There is no shop at Ansons Bay and the locals like it that way The nearest shop is at Gladstone about 20 minutes which has groceries fuel etc. Also a hotel The nearest town is St Helens south about 35 minutes drive or Bridport 40 minutes north The house is well equipped with 2 fridges and a separate freezer Linen and towels supplied All you need is food and drink We are sure you will have a great holiday
Kind Regards Kevin and Tina

We spent almost two weeks here and absolutely loved our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and so well equipped, it really felt like a home away from home. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches that made settling in so easy. The location is beautiful, and we loved being able to unwind, explore Ansons Bay, and enjoy the peace and quiet. It was the perfect base for our time on the coast.Thank you again for sharing your lovely place with us. We’d be very happy to stay again in the future.
Thanks Darren for staying in our holiday home , truly is a unique location and hard to get closer to the waterfront without being underwater
Stay well and safe travels
Wonderful water front home where you can easily sit back, relax and watch the bay all day. Or get active and see the wonderfully wild beaches like policeman’s point and deep creek, or go for a paddle up the river. Stunning! House has everything you need and great upstairs and downstairs zoning. Very family friendly!

Hi David,
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Ansons Bay.
Regards Christine.
The house and kitchen are very well kitted out, however there was no book of information about the property or surrounding area or map which would have been helpful
BYO everything including beach towels (which we did)
Lovely house with all the necessities. A great view to Policemans Point. Very relaxing to sit and look out over the water. A quiet spot away from it all. Easy access to the kayaks down in the boatshed. Able to pull the kayaks out of the shed into the water. Little birds visit each day.
Plan your supplies well as the nearest store is quite a distance away.

Great property, except there was a leak above the front sliding doors which left a pool of water on the floor (and wet curtains) after an overnight storm. Another (much smaller) leak under the kitchen sink - just FYI :) Otherwise, another great weekend spent at this same property - thanks again!
We had a relaxing 3 night stay in this very comfortable spacious house. Easy self checkin/checkout. Upstairs main bedroom had very comfy bed, amazing views, gorgeous sunrises. Well supplied kitchen amenities, heat pump provided cosy warmth, lovely deck off lounge room to enjoy water views. We used the supplied kayaks & lifejackets one late afternoon. Location was central for our day trips & walks, quiet for our visit late April, perfect for our getaway!
Thank you. Pam & Kerry

Good morning Pam, Kerry
It was a pleasure to have you stay in our holiday home
Great you enjoyed Ansons Bay our remote paradise and used the kayaks
It is a great part of the world
Stay well and safe travelling

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. It would be a great location if you wanted to stay put and be isolated and the weather was good. Unfortunately we had dreadful weather, and the dirt road from St Helens was in poor repair, so we felt the property was too far out of the way to change plans, and visit St Helens, etc. No fault of the beautiful house just unfortunate weather.
A list of instructions/ house intro would have been handy too.
Perfect location and facilities for a remote family holiday; filled with lots of fishing, beach walks, kayak trips and more (husband loved having his boat moored right out the front!). The view incredible. The township so friendly. Will definitely be back. Thank you!
This house was perfect for a relax and unwind. Spacious, clean and big views. Anson’s bay has a lot to offer, lots of tips in the house. Kayaks were also great fun.
This property was beautifully located and appointed. However when first entering we were hit by this awful stale cooking smell. Then on entering upstairs bedrooms the smell was worse. The main bedroom bedding including all pillows reeked of cigarette smoke. The other bedroom stuck of stale dirty people. The housekeeping itself was spotless. The front window also leaked after rain. Mixed feelings about our stay due to the awful lingering smells. Thought property was overpriced especially if the weather wasn't suitable for using the kayaks and bikes.

Good morning Sally
Sorry about your experience with the smells
We have had the same cleaner for 3 years and very happy with her as she is very thorough
When you spoke to her on your stay , after you left she tried to find where the smells were . Being a smoker her self got a freind who is a non smoker to see if she could track it down . Must have been something so she stripped everything down and had it all dry cleaned in St. Helens .
Admittedly it is dearer than a caravan park cabin but you get the whole house waterfront with amazing views .
Unfortunately the weather was not kind hope it is better on your next holiday
Stay safe and well Kind regards Kevin and Tina
Quick and friendly communication with the owner only set the tone for the delight that is this home in Anson's Bay. The facilities were clean and comfortable and access to kayaks were so appreciated. Close to amazing coastline and a quiet, gentle retreat to soothe the soul. Thanks Kevin and Tina.
Just what we needed. The house was extremely comfortable and warm with an awesome view that you could admire from the huge deck. Very modern and user-friendly features like the sound system and the kitchen.
Lots to explore in the immediate area.
We will be back!

Fantastic and beautiful piece of Paradise
Wow ! ! what a beautiful property and location. My wife and I went to celebrate our 15 year anniversary. From the moment we pulled into the driveway we were blown away. The house was so welcoming and access was easy, we had fantastic communication from the owners both before we left and while we were there. The house was absolutely spotless... which is a huge compliment considering all the sand lol. The house was so welcoming and set up beautifully for guests, even had bits in the pantry just like at home. The rooms were so comfortable and oh... the beds were amazing !! The boat shed with all the goodies was awesome, the use of the bikes, fishing rods and kayaks was the cherry on the cake, we were able to explore the whole area by bike one day, kayak the next to hiking along the beach coves looking for shells. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here and would recommend this place for anyone with a family wanting to enjoy the outdoors. we will definitely be back....with the children next time he he. thanks again. kindest regards Aaron and Lisa
