About this property
Amazing Ansons Bay Romantic Waterfront Beachhouse
Amazing Ansons Bay Beach house is a absolute waterfront new stylish house with great water views
There is not even a road in front of the house , just walk down the path with a handrail about 30 metres to the beach and boatshed .
The boatshed houses bikes and kayaks with safety vests for you to use at your leisure . Just a matter of sliding the kayaks about 4 metres across the sand to the water
Awesome views from bottom deck lounge kitchen which only gets better as you go up to the bedrooms There is a bathroom on 2 levels
Ansons Bay has a boat ramp that gives you access to the bay where due to its remoteness has great fishing
Ansons Bay is a sleepy little fishing village with little vehicular traffic and extremely peaceful . There is plenty to explore with Policemans Point beaches and Eddystone lighthouse and beaches nearby You can launch your boat at Eddystone Point to go deep sea fishing in the right conditions You can also launch directly into the bay and fish safely but the bar entrance to the bay can be very tricky and only for the most experienced boaties . The bay itself can be fished safely in nearly all conditions . If you are adventurous we are sure you will love the location and house We wish you the best stay of your trip
You have the complete house to use for yourselves The house comes with linen and towels and essentials Also free use of bikes and kayaks stored in boatshed in front of house We also have a mooring for you to use in front of house to save you launching your boat each time you want to fish
You can see your boat from anywhere on the house front.
Ansons Bay is unique in the way that you are surrounded by national park , the bird life is prolific . It is a friendly little community village You will have black swans and pelicans swimming past nearly every morning and many other sea birds and also wrens honeyeaters etc.
The only way to Ansons Bay is by car , 2 wheel drive is suitable although you will have about 30klm of dirt road . Probably why the bay is so unique .We suggest you don't travel at dusk to dawn as the wildlife is prolific with plenty of wallabies , tasmanian devils and wombats trying to cross the road ,
You will have no Wi Fi at the house but you can get it at connection cove just up the hill , about 750 metres There is TV and cd player as well The house is sewered We are on tank water so ask you use the water appropriately There is no shop at Ansons Bay and the locals like it that way The nearest shop is at Gladstone about 20 minutes which has groceries fuel etc. Also a hotel The nearest town is St Helens south about 35 minutes drive or Bridport 40 minutes north The house is well equipped with 2 fridges and a separate freezer Linen and towels supplied All you need is food and drink
We are sure you will have a great holiday
Kind Regards
Kevin and Tina
