Hi
Thanks for taking the time to review your stay and we a glad you enjoyed your time
The bed is a queen size and the chairs are recliners and are desgined to go back when you rock them.
Re the heater we turn off the pilot light as it is summer and it is very easy to light the pilot if needed
Many thanks
A very cosy vibe, welcoming and comfortable. The bed was amazing, so comfortable that it was hard to arise for my customary early walk. It was lovely to see all the little additional, thoughtful touches which assured our ease. The grounds were small but varied enough to take advantage of the sun at all times and assure privacy. The only addition I would suggest would be a pull out clothes line so that we could dry our clothes in the lovely fresh air rather than use the driers at the laundromat.

A real place to relax
We had had some pretty full on days in Melbourne relating to business and we were desperate to find a place where we could truly relax for a few days. Daylesford is such a beautiful part of the world. How could we resist.
Access was so simple and without hassle. Then we were greeted by a most beautiful and relaxing interior with everything so well thought through with respect to providing everything you would want. Probably the only thing that would have made it perfect would be if it had WiFi access, but I am told that is coming soon.
We loved all of the collectables in the house, Everywhere you looked a little curio to make you feel even more at home. Comfort was the order of the day. Then outside the garden was a joy just to wander around. So well maintained but also again detail was front and centre. Not to mention so many little spots to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail.
On top of that its location is so close to the centre and yet it is so quiet and peaceful.
We loved it and have already decided that early next year we are going to return to the same house and will stay a little longer.
