This home was built by one of the finest builders in Cape May and is located just blocks from the beach. GoldSky Cottage is one of three GoldSky properties on the block. Across the street is GoldSky Cottage Too (Vrbo 1766179) and two doors down from that one is GoldSky Cottage To Bee (Vrbo 2647981). These are both slightly larger with 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and each sleep 12.
This property features four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen with Bosch stainless steel appliances and a farm house sink, quartz counter tops, breakfast bar with stools, televisions in every room, washer/dryer, two zone heating and air conditioning, tank-less water heater for unlimited hot water, front porch, large deck, off street parking, in ground heatable kidney shaped pool, gas firepit with log stools, outdoor shower and beautiful furnishings throughout the home. If you are looking for the perfect home to enjoy with your family and friends, you have found it.
Built as a vacation rental from the ground up this property offers you everything you could need or want. The kitchen is stocked with all the items you would need to turn out a gourmet meal or just make a sandwich if that's more your style. Please note that linens are not provided, you can either bring your own or we can recommend several rental services in the area that do a great job.
Located in the historic district of West Cape May you are just one block from Wilberham Park which hosts events throughout the year. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops including the West End Garage where you are bound to find a wonderful memento of your vacation. The beach is 4/10 of a mile and takes about five minutes to walk there. The vibrant downtown area is a short ten minute walk.
There are two master suites each with a double vanity, a hallway bathroom with double vanity and tub and a powder room off the kitchen.

This home was perfect! It is located on a quiet street, super clean and comfortable, and very spacious. The pool was so nice and crystal clear. Backyard and fire pit were very nice, as well. We rented a beach buggy (golf cart) which was so fun and convenient. Great vacation in Cape May!

The perfect rental for our needs/wants without a doubt! Lots of space, spot-on beach decor, extremely clean, great location (quiet neighborhood and short walk from beach/restaurants/stores), awesome pool and fire pit, extremely friendly and communicative owner! Everything about this rental met or exceeded our expectations ... we will definitely rent this house again (or one of the owner's other houses in Cape May should we need even more space)!

Home away from home!

We had an amazing experience at this house. The owner was super responsive to questions and explaining the ins and outs of the house. We found the kitchen to be fully stocked with more than enough to make awesome family dinners. The beds were incredibly comfortable (though the upstairs master is a King size bed, not queen) and everyone slept well. The fully fenced yard is perfect for those with a doggo... or small kids. The pool is perfect for the days that are too windy for the beach or you don't want to go fight the crowds. We really enjoyed our time here and look forward to coming back again.

Great accomodations

Nicely laid out and upgraded home. The fenced large yard is a huge bonus. The fire pit is amazing and the pool is a nice option although we didn't get to use it because the heater wasn't working until the end of our stay. The kitchen is generally stocked but many cabinets are locked although there is ample counter space to put personal items.

We had such a great rental experience! The home was beautiful and perfect for our family vacation with our dogs! The home is on a quiet street in West Cape May right near everything you could need. We took several short walks to the beach, Washington Street, Beach Plum Farm, and different restaurants. We absolutely loved the heated pool! Richard was extremely responsive and a great host! We already booked for next year!

Wonderful Week!

We had a great week and the location of this house was perfect for our group of 5 adults and 2 children under 2. Very clean and cute decor - looks just like the pictures. We used the pool daily and being able to heat it was nice for a week in September. There's a childproof screen / fence on the deck stairs to protect the little ones which gave us peace of mind when it wasn't in use. West Cape May has nice wide quiet streets so it's easy to walk or ride your bike to Willowcreek Winery, Beach Plum Farms, or just for fun. The traffic on the other side of town can be a little crazy so you have to get to this side for a leisurely ride. It's away from the action but you're only a nice 10-15 minute walk or 3-5 minute bike/car ride to the downtown shops or the beach. There are also lots of great restaurants that are a short walk from this house as well. Richard is an excellent host and we will definitely rent from him again!

The house was lovely and very well kept. All mod cons including Roomba vacuums!

We loved the house it was perfect for us a group of 3 girls but could easily take up to 8 people. The home is very nicely kept and in a great location. We loved using the pool and sitting out on the porch. The grill was great and plenty of dining space for a small group. All in all we will be coming back!

Beautiful home and great location!

The house was clean and nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking or grilling. We loved having a front porch and a back deck. The yard is fenced in which is great for dogs and small children and it is a really good size. We had cornhole games each evening after getting back from the beach. You can walk or bike to the beach and to get anything you need. The location is perfect! We really loved having a pool!! Rich is very accessible and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Perfect spot for a family holiday!

This house is true to the photos & other reviews. Clean, modern, large bedrooms, adorable decorated. We did 2 weeks here, one of them with 4 kids under 5 and 6 adults and we were very comfortable the entire time. Also, it’s a great location, central to the less crowded West cape May restaurants and shops but an easy 10min walk to both the beach and center town. We will definitely rent again!!

Perfect Vacation House for Our Family!

We loved every minute of our stay! The house is gorgeous and has everything you could need to cook or grill at home. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and beautiful. The pool was perfect for a 2 and 4 year old old and I especially loved having the safety gate on the deck to keep the kids away from the pool when we weren’t swimming. We could walk to the beach, to breakfast and for ice cream. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. It rained a few days but the house had so many games that we were never bored. We are coming back for sure! So many family memories made in this house! Thank you!!

We had a wonderful week in Cape May the house is very well appointed. If you have small dogs the fence will keep them in we have Yorkie’s that are escape artists and they were unable to get out. The landlord is very good about keeping you informed and will respond to any questions you might have. We would come back to this home anytime.

Another perfect family vacation at Goldsky Cottage!

This was our family's second vacation at Goldsky Cottage and it was perfect! As always, Richard was extremely responsive to any questions before, during, and after our stay. This year we enjoyed the luxury of having an outdoor shower! A great plus when you come back from the beach and want to rinse off before jumping in the pool to cool off. Another plus was the retractable gate at the top of the deck stairs. This safety measure really helped us to relax on the deck while our toddler granddaughter played with her toys or splashed in her little inflatable pool. It was just a perfect family week in a great home!

We (6 adults, 1 18 mo. old and 2 dogs - one a Great Pyr) enjoyed both stays. High end house in a quite neighborhood walkable most anywhere. The living area a bit tight for our gang, but the dogs will stay home next year. It will be more comfortable that way, especially since we will be adding an infant to the mix. Richard was responsive to our needs. However, the thermostats seemed to adjust automatically during the night. We all woke up several nights very warm, and adjusted the temps manually.

We had installed Nest thermostats and they learn as you use them. I went into the app and it seems the prior guests liked it warm at night or it was just cooler when they were there. The thermostat learned what they liked and was raising the temperature at night but that wasn't what you wanted, sorry. I changed all the settings and removed all the higher settings. As far as the room size, it's the same size it was when you rented the house last year and there are two family rooms so there is room to spread out.

We just enjoyed a very pleasant stay in goldsky cottage. The home has everything you could need in a vacation rental and is so warm and inviting. The fenced in yard was great for our two young kids and dog. Even though it was a bit chilly we were still able to enjoy some time in the heated pool. With just a 10 minute walk to the beach it is also in the perfect location. We are looking forward to coming back and enjoying another vacation in Goldsky Cottage.
