Flynn's Beach House - surfing/fishing/walking/cycling in a quiet street

Our holiday home is just a 5 minute walk to the popular Flynns beach. Also within this same walking distance are Restaurants, takeaway, book/coffee shop, post office, bottle shop, pharmacy, medical center and more.
On Flynns beach there is a cafe open for breakfast and lunch, the beach is fully patrolled and yoga and bootcamps are also on offer. If you would like to learn to surf there is a surf school over the holidays and on weekends.
Or you could enjoy a scenic walk along the ocean walk all the way to town, or perhaps to lighthouse beach in the opposite direction.
It is in an ideal location, a 5min drive or 15min walk to town or a bus stop within around 200m.
Perfect for the fisherman, surfer, fitness enthusiest or for just a quiet break from the city life.
It's central position also makes it ideal for those coming to Port Macquarie for contract work.

Well located basic home that can fit a family. Very convenient that dogs are allowed, the back yard allows space to run around. The flat roof means that the house heats like an over on hot and sunny days. However, the aircon does keep the living room cool.

A very welcoming house, with a secure yard suitable for a larger dog. Located in a great area. A short walk to nearby to the beaches (including a dog beach). There are basic shops and great cafes within walking distance, and only a short drive into Port Macquarie. We had a lovely albeit short stay, and will definitely be back.

Property let down by lack of landscaping and outside maintenance

The property is let down by its lack of outside appeal. The front grass is long and weed ridden. The back area also has long grass and there is no hand rail for the back steps. This is a health and safety issue. Children plus anyone with a disability needs steps to have a hand rail. There is also a loose area on the back railings. The inside of the house is a pleasure to walk into. The furniture and furnishings are of good quality. I did have to provide some plastic food covering wrap and also an oven mitt! Some food storage bowls would also be a welcome addition.

Location not too far out of town and close to shops and beach.

After checking with Sue regarding the accessibility for a disabled person, I booked only to find the house ok but could not get my sister into the bathroom. Door too narrow for wheelchair. Proved to be a big downer for us.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property in 2013 because of it's ideal location but still affordable. So people can still have a great holiday in a perfect location and not cost an arm & a leg.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with the large living space in this home. It also has a modern kitchen. And did I mention the location? ;)
It is at the end of a quiet street with a small reserve on the other side.
As soon as we saw it we knew we had to purchase it, and we would have to be quick or it would be taken out from underneath us!
The close proximity to the beach, restaurants, walking trails, town and attractions make the Flynns Beach house and ideal holiday location.
It is an older style home so the price point makes it very affordable for those that don't want to pay through the nose for great locations!
