It has a sweeping view of the Kona coast, cool breezes, and views of the airport, Haleakala ( over on Maui), amazing sunsets every evening. Conveniently located to Kona (12 min. away) and to Costco(7 min.) as well as to other sights/parts of the island.The two bedrooms sleep 4 and there is a queen sized sofa(hide-a bed) for additional sleeping options. All brand new appliances and outside BBQ for your private use, as well as large flat screen TV, DVD player and use of the washer & dryer-in the garage-all the amenities to ensure your stay is comfortable. The higher elevation(1200 ft level) ensures cooler temperatures and breezes. Enjoy privacy pool, landscaping completed in the backyard, with private barbecue area.

I grew up in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. Since leaving for college, I always hoped to one day return to my favorite island- the BIG ISLAND!
So now we have this home to share and hope you'll love it as much as we do.
I have 4 grown children and retired from teaching at the elementary school level in Multi-Arts...visual art, vocal music, theater and dance.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because of the breezes and the sweeping view of the coast. It was quiet, convenient and a lovely new development.

What makes this property unique

It is so close to the airport (down the hill by 7 min) and so close to Costco (7 min.) and to Kailua- Kona. Up near the Mamalahoa Hwy., it is convenient to go to Waimea/Kamuela or over to the Hilo side. The beaches are all close!
