Great Kiama location

A great place to stay. We swam at the beach right across the road, walked the beautiful coastline, walked to the shops and read on the balcony. We hope to be stay again soon.

Short Summer Getaway

Great location close to all amenities and an easy walk to the beach, harbour or blowhole. Patisserie around the corner was fantastic for breakfast and Coffee too. Only negatives were the weather and free to air channels on the TV. Possibly a TV with screen mirroring would be great as most people have subscription services on their devices these days.

Good - could be great

The apartment is modern, clean and tidy and I would rate it 'good' but not 'great' which it potentially could be with some minor improvements - better furniture, some wall art, some decoration (any) touches to make it more homely and less sterile for example. There are views of the ocean and beach, albeit slightly obstructed by the sports field seating/roof across the road and all other facilities are as described. The second bedroom now has sliding plantation shutters to form a wall and door. If you plan to cook in-house, note the stove is a 2 element and the oven and fridge are on the smaller side. Luckily there are plenty of good restaurants in walking distance.

The unit was clean, although we found an old takeout bag behind the couch cushions when I dropped my phone. And no shampoo was provided, thank goodness I carry some with me when I travel. Overall, we enjoyed the location and the nearby restaurants and shops. We would stay again.

Accomadation

Our overall impression of this holiday unit was EXTREMELY disappointing. There were no ocean views, we were on the ground floor. The furniture was well below acceptable for the price we paid. It was in fact furniture you would have in a small child's room. The only couch in the place was so tiny you couldn't even sit on it. Outside furniture rusty and not acceptable to sit on either. Very very disappointing especially for what we paid!!!!

Hi Debbie, we appreciate all reviews. We have a new lounge on order but this has been delayed due to COVID. We expect it to arrive in the next couple of weeks. I don’t understand your comment of no ocean views. We are ground floor and facing beach and ocean. So not entirely sure what you mean as we have beautiful ocean and beach views.

Great location

Disappointing property Great photos .....looked like the second sleeping area was more private Place was not set up for us Who ever prepares the property ,it would be nice to have all towels out , hairdryer in the bathroom-Only accessories were there. Lounge covered very untidily with a fitted sheet !

Hi Deb, We appreciate your feedback. Though, would like to reply to the following: There was a hairdryer in the bottom drawer in bathroom, this is where it is always kept & stated in your Welcome Pack, Property Manager has confirmed that it is still there. You originally booked for 2 people but then upgraded to 4, which we accepted at no extra charge. There was towels left out for 4 guests, the towels in the cupboard were spare towels for you. The lounge is covered with a specially made lounge cover (not a fitted sheet). I'm sorry that you were not aware of some things, but I'm always available 24hrs and just a phone call away to ask.
