Beautiful lakefront home. Available for weekend or weekly rentals Apple picking close by Swim, fish, water play. Kayak. Ice skate, ice fish, snowmobile no need to leave its all in the backyard🎣🦆🏕🚣🏻🤿🏊 But city life is close by.
The house is magically located in the middle of Central Maine, in the foothills of the mountains, with many lakes and ponds. There are hiking trails, beaches and parks. Our Town has its small commercial center, and a growing cultural center based at the Cary Memorial Library. There is the Ladd Recreational Center for young and old, with year round activities. Leaving from the house and going to any of a huge variety of places, and getting back again by the end of the day, is wicked easy and fun
This 2+bed 2 bathroom chalet is situated on quite serene Wilson pond. The home is close to Augusta yet it’s a quaint small town and feels secluded.
Sleeps 8 Comfortably (One queen, two full, one full futon, queen pull out sofa, and the couch converts to a king.
The house has a beautifully outfitted kitchen: dishes/cookware, brand new gas range, new refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine with mesh filter and a blender to name a few Spectacular three season porch with cathedral ceilings and walls of windows that let the natural lights do nature in. You can sit for hours ...have your coffee and watch the birds! The Walls of windows make you feel outside and when the windows are open the breeze is amazing.
The house in on a peninsula… Wilson pond on the property and Dexter on the other side of the street. They are spring fed ponds. In the summer you can swim in the sandy bottom pond, or enjoy a great fishing spot. 5 bodies of water connect to allow Wilson Pond to have multiple varieties of fish.
Take out one of the property’s kayaks or canoe. Looking for more speed? Order the watercraft of your dreams from nearby Beacon boat rentals (speedboats, jet skis, etc.) and have it delivered to our private dock.
Enjoy the outdoor fire pit year…complete with woodshed. There’s nothing like a crackling fire and listening to the loons singing.
In the wintertime enjoy the cozy indoor propane fireplace, go skating ice fishing or bring your ATVs on the frozen pond.
Head to skiing/snowboarding or tubing at one of the many ski resorts nearby. Lost valley is close. Find wonderful treasures in the many antique shops in the surrounding towns, or pick up some farm fresh fruit or chicken or duck eggs at the farm stands. (0r my local connection) 25 min to Maine state capital..Augusta, 17 minutes from ⭐️ Hallowell...Water street is a great “Maine street”spot for shopping, live music ,bars and dining. (My favorite) 15 minutes from Hannaford’s supermarket, and 0 minutes away from a relaxing, fun-filled vacation. The botanical gardens are a great day trip..you can hike through the woods looking at the trolls or leisurely stroll through Botanical gardens. It’s located in Boothbay. The upstairs bedroom area is complete with a Wii and a multitude of games Lots of spaces to enjoy

Charming cottage with plenty of features. Excellent location, 5 minutes to scenic Wayne. Also 10-15 minutes to Winthrop for necessary items. Right on the water, excellent views, excellent fishing. Quiet area, friendly people.
Loved staying here. Peaceful and beautiful right on the lake. House was well appointed. The tap water isn’t drinkable but there was plenty of bottled water provided. Enjoyed several outings in the kayaks to watch the Osprey and the Loons. We also ran on the Mt Pisgah trail several times.

We were able to spend 3 days at peaceful Wilson Pond cottage, while attending a family reunion in Livermore. Tina kindly ensured that our needs were met. It was a welcoming space with a lovely beachfront. The canoe and Adirondack chairs were thoughtful additions. The view from the huge windows was an added bonus! Thank you!
I loved this stay and would stay here again in a second! The property is a little gem!! I visited in the "early spring" so not really lake weather but it was still an awesome visit, i can only imagine how awesome the lake is! It would be hard to get any closer to waters edge! The home is clean, charming and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for being an excellent guest. You’re welcome back anytime!
location was great, the lake and the wildlife were amazing. enjoyed sitting in the glassed in room each night listening to all of the sounds. the kids were a bit shocked by the 'don't drink the water' warnings, which caused a bit of drama, but otherwise, it was a much needed week away.

Hi. So glad you enjoyed the house. Other than not drinking the tap water as it unpredictably hard water…the water does goes through a 3 point filter including a UV light to keep it free of bacteria
I hope you found the 5 gal jugs i supply on hand with the water cooler acceptable with it’s hot and cold features
Please come back anytime:) Fall is a beautiful time at the lake.
Thanks
Tina
This cottage was everything our family needed for a relaxing weekend away. We easily found anything and everything we needed during our stay. Furthermore, Tina was always available to answer questions and was gracious enough to allow us to bring our dog. Couldn’t have asked for a better host!

Tina was fantastic with the communication. She was very accommodating. So much so that I can comfortably say that I have never had a more seamless vrbo. We had a wonderful time.
We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed being on the lake with it’s incredible views. We actually watched an eagle diving into the water to catch dinner. Our grandson was quite excited to have caught six large mouth bass while he was here. Two of them he kept and cooked them up for his dinner. We liked being close to the village and Winthrop for picking up provisions.

We typically go to Maine in August and spend time with our family. This property really met all our needs. It was so nice to have absolutely everything we need available to us. I really enjoyed having the lake and kayaks just yards away. There was plenty of space. We thought it was perfect. Tina was responsive and very kind with all our communication. I would definitely go back! Highly recommended!
Tranquil Peaceful Vacation With Lots of Fun to Be Had
Tina was "at the ready" to answer any questions that came up. Check-In couldn't have been easier, we promptly received a code for the door, no problem! Kitchen facilities were fully stocked and it was a pleasure to prepare a meal or a snack and to then head out back to enjoy eating at the picnic table while listening to the loons and watching the hummingbirds. I can't think of anything that was missing in the kitchen or in the bathrooms, the owner had thought of everything. The large windows in every room kept the house beautifully cool. We enjoyed a cozy, relaxing and fun visit.
We enjoyed our stay at Tina’s beautiful waterfront home! The house, decor, landscaping and waterfront was lovely. The house was well stocked with everything you might need. Our vacation was very relaxing and peaceful. There is an amazing hiking trail just down the road to the top of Mt. Pisgah which was beautiful. Highly recommend!

My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate our 30th birthdays. It was great to get away and this lake house was peaceful and serene. We really enjoyed the gas stove and large windows looking out over the lake. Check in was a breeze and Tina was super responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again! It’s nice to know that traveling during Covid can be safe and easy.

Thanks Carly I enjoyed having you both as my guest also.
I have stayed at many different lake houses in New Hampshire and Maine over the years but this was my favorite property. The house is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated and the lake setting is so picturesque. It's clear that the owner, Tina, wants to ensure that visitors have everything they need and more! Definitely deserves a five star review!!!!

Wilson pond is beautiful and paddling and fishing were a blast!

We had a great time at Tina's place and hope to be back again. The area was loaded with potential kayak trips, and we weren't too far from stuff to do when the weather was not great. It had to be the quietest place we've ever rented- it seemed we were mostly by ourselves on our end of the pond, and we like that! Thanks, Tina!

Our family took our daughters' best friends up for the summer trip this year. Lovely house. All the amenities you need are there! We appreciated the downstairs bedroom to have some quiet time away from the kids. Beds were comfy. We did have some warm days, but they were tolerable without AC. The lake/pond is very active with wildlife! Lots of good fishing. Would stay again!
This house exceeded our expectations in terms of location, space, how well it was equipped, and the beauty of the lake. Tina’s responsiveness is exactly as described on the website - immediate and thorough. She was seeking to help and guide us throughout the stay. We had a wonderful weekend and would love to rent again!
