About this property

The Studio. A barn built for an Artists studio and now lovingly converted into two bed-roomed accommodation, nestled in four acres of park-like and sustainable grounds.

Wander out through the french doors and enjoy the space.
Have a game of tennis on the shared grass tennis court ( rackets / balls available in studio) or some fun with croquet.
Please note: Tennis court currently under its Autumn restoration

The BBQ and spa pool which are for your own private use are on hand for chilled out holiday living. Stay indoors by the fire for the perfect winters hideaway to recharge. Relax and read a book or watch a DVD, of which there is a good selection. There is good cell phone coverage and stereo enables linking to phone music apps.

Urenui village is approximately 5 minutes drive away and has a well-stocked Four Square (supermarket), eateries and a take-away, petrol station and Wifi Hot spot . Just 3 minutes drive North is a cafe /restaurant and during summer, a further 10 minutes you will come to Wai-iti beach and cafe.
Nice sandy beaches nearby for fishing, swimming and play. Urenui Golf course just 5 minutes away.

New Plymouth City only 25 minutes drive.

Our home is down at the other end of the property beyond the large garden and orchard. We completely respect your privacy and your stay will be contactless. We do maintain the grounds/pick our produce, so if you do see us around, feel free to wander over for a chat. All too happy to answer any questions if we can.

Lovely cottage in countryside

Thank you for the relaxing and peaceful stay. Our son asked in the first hour of being there if we could stay again! Great location near New Plymouth and on the west coast x

Perfect private getaway

The studio

Wonderful private stay in studio. All very clean and warm with fire going. Spa was lovely after travelling. Did miss a washing machine though. Will certinally stay again 😊😊

Beautiful bach and gardens

Everything about this place is gorgeous. Design and furnishings are lovely, superb kitchen and appliances. All is immaculate. Spacious modern bathroom It even has two living rooms. All you need for entertainment inside and outside it's tastefully landscaped, restful views, great furniture. Log burner is new. The spa was perfect every night. There's croquet, lawn tennis (surface rough though) and beautiful gardens to walk around. Such a peaceful location, probably the nicest bach we've rented.
