THE SPACE

Cozy 3rd apartment with 1 memory foam queen bed, two twin memory foam. The layout is separated for added privacy. We offer amenities as coffee, tea, chocolate etc. The apartment has windows in the living room that provide a great view of downtown.

Smith Hill

Ok property, but lacking some finishing touches, such as full sets of service for 4 people in dishes and glasses. No placemats for table. No wash cloths or hand towels in bath. Front door keypad is very touchy and difficult to get to take code properly. The location is very walkable to State Capital buildings, college hill, downtown and Plaza Mall. Parking is pretty awful - driveways are too narrow for the car to get in easily!

Here's a tip for everyone planningto make a booking doesn't matter if is with us. PLEASE, IF THE HOST ASK YOU FOR YOUR STAY AND IF YOU NEED ANYTHING, PLEASE LET THE HOST KNOWS, BECAUSE WHEN YOU SAY WHAT YOU NEED IN THE REVIEWS THERE IS NO CHANCE TO HELP YOU AND YOU PAID YOUR MONEY. Anyway, for us, you were a very clean, calm, respectful person and obeyed the rules of the apartment.

Not ready to handle vacation homes

Property was still dusty and dirty from construction, we had to wear shoes to walk in floors and if you touched walls you were covered in drywall dust. No oven to cook, and the neighborhood is filthy even mattresses and couches in the side of streets as you drive in. Confusion on check in that the code given to us worked on the wrong floor and unit so we were in the wrong house which means that another family was given the same code and had access to our stuff while we were gone.

Hi Jennifer, you rented the 3rd floor which was going for much lower than the 2nd floor and I gave you the code to the second floor by mistake. There were two ceparate codes. We tried calling you countless times and you ignored the calls. That cost me a few days of rental at that price which were already booked before you took the 2nd floor and you ignored my calls and VRBO's calls. I always put my guests first and although you went in to the wrong apartment I decided to let you stay at the discounted price. When we spoke, you were very pleasant and expressed were highly satisfied with everything. It wasn't until I asked you about the damages you made that your demeanor changed.

Excellent property to stay

I am rarely ever review on anything but for 6 days stay at this property I feel like I am at home. Will stay again if we want to visit our daughter, who is attended Brown University this year.

Convenient yet just okay

We were in RI for a funeral. The place was conveniently located and the perfect size and set up for our family. Instead of queen bed, it actually had 2 twin beds. Because we have kids this worked perfectly. The apartment smelled clean, but we found trash under the coffee table and near the couch and other dirty aspects. There were too few towels and things travelers need. The location was great, the price worked for us, and the place fit our needs. I just don't agree with the cleanliness reports of past visitors. That said, I would rent it again.

The neighborhood was not good and the parking was limited and dangerous. There were nails and other trash on the driveway. The entry was dirty and run down. And the owner has tried to charge us an extra $400 for damage that we did not do. We left the apartment in pristine condition. We even paid an extra $15 per night for additional parking, even though there was not space for additional parking.

We are so sorry to heart that, any parking can be dangerous if you have a big truck like the one you have and we were very clear about the additional parking and you accepted even you blocked others parking spot, and about the extra $400 for some reasons vrbo support gave us the reason. Remember we have cameras outside the house. I hope next time you try to talk more with the host about your concerns.

great location and clean apartment

Very close to downtown and access to main highways. The street lost power and Danny came right over with flashlight and battery operated lights. The only negative is the steps up to the 3rd floor. They are winding and steep. We are 63 and it was alot for us with suitcases. I think the listing should have been more specific about that.

Amazing service!

I chose this listing because it was within walking distance of the event I was attending. It was clean and spacious.. The management was very responsive. I asked if there was a can opener (which there wasn’t) and so Danny had a can opener immediately shipped to the home. Amazing service! I would stay here again.
