Exactly as described…. the host was extremely responsive. We were met with chocolate and biscotti which was a great touch! Very close to acquaint town everybody was super nice and the place was nicely decorated. Plenty of towels and soaps, showerhead good water pressure, which is really important for me. Lol great place to go walking and get some exercise. If you’re into that then you must go to Basta for a great Italian meal.
The carriage house was a wonderful base for our RI vacation. The hosts were beyond welcoming; Moon the golden lab was a special treat. We loved it!

Immaculate comfortable and quiet stay at a beautifully renovated old carriage house. Proximity to everything you could need, and quick drive to downtown Providence.
Carriage House on Historic property filled with artwork
Thank you for offering this great place for our visit to RI. Kitchen was well appointed and the upstairs living area and sleeping space were filled with interesting art pieces. Nice yard for canine travelers too. Convenient location to Providence and 95. Very enjoyable stay.
The place was beautiful. Very comfortable and clean. Steve was available for questions and help when needed. Great property. Lots of privacy. Gorgeous neighborhood. I loved it.

Wish I had time to write more. These folks were great. Our fault we had a little snafu with mistaking the checkout time, and the hosts were very gracious about our mistake.Property has pretty much everything you need to stay at night or longerNice and clean great neighborhood.
Wonderful property — every detail was simply perfect. Great location, close to Roger Williams Park. Loved the outdoor space. Steve, ChunMei and the dog, Moon are warm and welcoming hosts. Highest recommendation from us!
This was an awesome property to stay at. The historic home was so clean and beautiful. It had everything that we needed to be comfortable. There were so many thoughtful touches and communication with Steve was prompt and welcoming. We couldn’t ask for better and look forward to staying here again in the future.
The cottage is spacious for 2 people. It is very comfortable and easy to navigate to and from in a quiet neighborhood. It is well appointed.
We chose it to have access to the south and west. The resident lab is friendly and likes head scratches.
We chose this property because they allowed our dog to stay and it was the perfect choice for us. The location is great. The house itself is just beautiful. It was so nice to have a place to ourselves and our dog was so comfortable. Moon, the owner’s dog, was a great playmate, too! No need to consider another property for your Rhode Island stay.
This was our second stay. The historic property is clean, beautiful and so comfortable. There were treats and fresh flowers when we arrived. We had all of the amenities that we needed and a few extra just in case. I can’t say enough about our host and this place. We will absolutely stay here again and again.
We loved the well styled and clean cottage. It also had some amazing pieces of artwork! The location to the park was VIP, especially for anyone with a fur baby. Although parking was available, it was very hard to maneuver in and out of the driveway. I was also hoping for a bit more privacy to use the backyard amenities.

Our 1st review less than 5 stars :( I guess it had to happen sometime. The backyard and pool are indeed shared, so that is important to know for potential guests that desire outdoor privacy
The Carriage House was quaint and comfortable. The owners were responsive to the issues that arose during my 2 week stay. They even mailed me some items that I had left behind. The property was peaceful and exactly what I needed to assess the area for a possible move.
My husband, son (11) & Boston Terrier loved our stay! If I could live in this carriage house, I would. It smelled so clean when you walked in. Roses on the table & chocolates! It was well organized & had everything you needed. The location was great. The State Park is right in walking distance. There is a Walgreens at the end of the block if you need anything. The king sized bed was so comfortable. We loved it.
We could not be more impressed with the beauty of the property or the hospitality of the owners. Any question was met promptly and with kindness. Subtle touches--including fresh flowers!--show just how much Steve and Chun Mei love their home. We will absolutely stay again. Thank you! :)

Traci, it was a pleasure meeting you and your family, thank you for staying with us and for being such great guests! Steve
We visit Providence frequently but this was the first time we’ve stayed anywhere that rates returning. Steven was easily available and friendly. The house comes with Moon, a lovely white retriever who greets you then leaves you alone. Lovely dog. The location was perfect for us, about ten minutes south of downtown. Plenty of room for the two of us. What a pleasant surprise. We’ll be back.
3 day weekend. A. Great kitchen with a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. We were able to cook a lot. Fun. Upstairs was huge. Living area with a TV and a separated bedroom area. Nice bathroom as well. If the weather had been nicer (warmer) it is 1/2 a block from the Roger Williams park so a great place for walks and/or bike rides. Walgreens & CVS at the beginning of the street. Close to lots of things. We will be back again. TY to Steve for a great place and making things easy.

Why they chose this property
Rodger Williams Park, the "Jewel of Providence," is a 435 acre oasis in the heart of the city and only steps away from the Carriage House. The park boasts a world class zoo, a Museum of Natural History, boat house, the stunning all-marble "Temple to Music," lovely public art, miles of walking, biking, and hiking paths, and so much more. It's such a joy to have the park at the end of our street. In the other direction is Narragansett Bay and Pawtuxet Village, a quaint 16th century enclave that is one of the cradles of the American Revolution. 5 minutes in the car and you are at any of our universities, hospitals, or restaurants for which Providence is rightfully famous. We love our neighborhood!
