About this property

NEW Sleek, Contemporary Home Near Med School

New two bedroom home and furnishings just a five minute walk from the UMKC Medical School, and within three miles of both hospitals, downtown Joplin shopping, parks, walking paths, restaurants, and much more.
Perfect for families or students.
The space
Our newly built home offers two bedrooms, one bathroom, living area, full kitchen and dining, and an "Away Room" for reading, studying, or just relaxing by yourself. This room also has a futon, for an extra guest. Our bathroom has a tub/shower combo and a utility closet with a washer and dryer. The kitchen has all the essentials, if you prefer to cook. We also offer Wifi and a Roku TV.

This is a perfect location for anyone needing a furnished, comfortable, clean short or long term lodging. If you're local or visiting, it's also the perfect "Get Away" for a friends retreat, or couples weekend.

NOTE REGARDING FEE: Any booking which exceeds two adults (anyone over 18) will be charged an additional $25 per day per person. Although our booking allows for two free children, a third child would use the Futon and we charge $20 extra for its’ use.

The house is very easy to get to and is just the right size. I thought is was decorated perfect and appreciate all the little extras that were included. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was a great place, highly recommend!!!It would be even better if it had off the street parking.

Good value and location. It was clean and everything worked. It doesn’t have a garage or drive so parking is on the street. It could use some amenity upgrades. There was only one wine glass and one whiskey glass, no steak knives or paper towels. But those are minor things. Again for the money it was good deal.

Memorable Stay

Our family visited Joplin last year for a baseball tournament, but stayed in a hotel. This year I was happy to find this little rental property and my family and I were very pleased with our stay! This little house had everything we were looking for, and we couldn’t beat the price. Huge thanks to the owner for providing such a clean and well decorated place to stay. Also, loved all the small details such as laundry detergent, dishes and pans for cooking. This place was centrally located for our needs, so such a plus. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Great place I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Joplin.

The property was great

The property was great. The owners were great. But when I arrived I’d found that vrbo had double booked the residence and I couldn’t stay. When I talked to a customer service representative about a refund because i wasn’t able to stay in the residence I had booked and paid for they were pretty much avoiding any and all responsibility and refund and didn’t offer to make it right. The owner was more then generous with his time and concerns about how it had gotten double booked.

Bad communication

There was a hole in the wall the size of a car with a tarp covering it. Evidently a car crash through it a couple weeks ago but no one notified me. Had to stay in a hotel for the weekend instead.
