Ikebukuro Station is the second largest station of JR East Japan after Shinjuku Station, and the largest station of Tobu, Seibu, and Tokyo Metro. There are 8 tram and subway stops. Ikebukuro Station is 5 minutes by tram from Shinjuku, 15 minutes from Shibuya / Ueno / Tokyo, and 20 minutes from Akihabara / Ginza. The transportation is very convenient. Popular tourist attractions can be reached by direct line.
Nearby sightseeing spots include Anime City, Sunshine City, Tokyo Arts Theater, Sunshine Aquarium.
