Cute cabin with great lake front property. The living room furniture is well worn and could use replacing. A few spider webs in places, but overall very clean. We were just in town for a wedding and wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the lake.
Stayed at the 5th Crow Lake cabin over a weekend in February. Absolutely loved it. The hosts have done a wonderful job making sure cabin is clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need. We usually stay at a resort on another lake nearby, but after spending a few days in Nevis we might be coming back here a lot.
We had a great stay and enjoyed our time. The cabin and stay was 5/5 stars. The only reason I reduced the rating was the weeds. The lake would have been great if we were a fishing family, but my kids wanted to swim. The weeds in mid-June were too thick to make that comfortable.Everything about the stay was great - I would just caution anyone who is looking for a cabin/lake for kids to swim in.
This was a nice little cabin to stay at. The kitchen faucet was leaky, but otherwise everything was fine. It was rainy during our stay, so we didn't get as much out of it as we hoped. Still a cool experience.
Wonderful getaway property. The cabin was rustic, cozy and beautifully decorated. It was furnished with a complete assortment of cooking utensils along with extras like great shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The environment was relaxing and peaceful. The view of the lake from the deck was marvelous.Early check in was much appreciated as it allowed us to travel earlier in the day to beat the brutal heat that day. A problem with the water heater was identified to our property manager and fixed the same evening. We loved listening to the loons. Just the kind of place we were looking for.
I had a work meeting in Walker on Saturday. My dog, Hank and I came up for the weekend. We could not have asked for better weather. We spent our free time sitting by the lake with Hank playing fetch off the dock. We will definitely be back some day.
What a peaceful stay! The cabin was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the lake, was so calming. And the loons, what a beautiful song! We even caught fish :) The only drawback was the bathroom barn door, our son got stuck twice. Think he pulled it too far and it got hung up. We had a good laugh.
We enjoyed the location of this property. Us girls wanted to bike the beautiful Heartland Trail.
This location provided easy access to trail.
The cabin was clean, well equipped. The beds very comfortable. We called the owners once for new batteries for TV. They came quickly!!
Thank you.
Cabin is VERY pet friendly. Our trip was disrupted with water heater not working. I also had to clean as much rust off before using toilet and sink. Shower is in horrible shape due to rusty water. Soap supply and garage bags in short supply. Place needs a good cleaning along with summer sheets and bedding. We are very disgusted!

Cute Cabin
It is a cute cabin with great lake front property in a quiet neighborhood. We were just in town for the weekend for a wedding, so we didn't get to take advantage of the lake, deck or firepit, though we wish we could have. The cabin is overall, cute. It has quirks, like no latches on the interior doors, only hooks to "lock" it into place. The living room furniture and couch pillows have definitely been well used and could use replacing. No exhaust fan or window in the bathroom. There was a strong musty smell in the lower kitchen cupboards. Overall the cabin was clean - a few cobwebs, but it's a cabin, so that's to be expected. Check in was easy.

Weekend Getaway
The property was nice and we would have given higher marks if the communication with the management people would have been better. My mom passed away while we were there and we had to leave the next morning. I messaged the situation through Vrbo right away Saturday morning to let them know that we were leaving early and to this day have still not heard about anything. Super disappointing!!
Other than that, the only complaint that we had was that all the outside chairs were not clean for us to use. I'm there to relax not have to clean something to use before I can.

Hi Michelle, we want to make vacation rental easy for everyone, and we're sorry if you were caught off guard. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We do have high standards of hospitality and understand how important communication is to our guests. We take our guest experience seriously and strive to provide an enjoyable stay for each guest. - We apologize that your experience with Vrbo was less than satisfactory. We've addressed your feedback with the necessary teams so that these issues can be prevented going forward. Thank you again for providing such valuable feedback.- We want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our property seriously. However, we do apologize that the deck chairs weren’t clean. - I know our cleaning crew usually wipes them down, but I’ll let them know that it was missed ahead of your stay. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention.- As you can see by our many great reviews, we are accustomed to providing five-star experiences, and we look forward to this property hosting many happy travelers!

What we were looking for
We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy the outdoors and have that cabin feel. This was it. It was peaceful and quiet, private dock and deck. The table on the deck only had one chair would of been nice to have more than that to actually use it. We brought our boat but finding the landing was not easy. Also, parking our trailer at the cabin was not easy but made it work. So if you are pulling a trailer with your boat just an FYI. When arriving lots of bugs on the front door and spider webs all around the cabin and beach chairs. We did enjoy the lake and enjoyed fishing off the dock. There is also a fire pit to use but you need to bring your own wood. It rained on Saturday but enjoyed watching a movie on hulu. (I was not able to find the user log in information so I had to log in using my account). Had very little to no cell phone service while we were there. There is a small gas grill that we used several times. Overall inside the cabin was clean.
Perfect distance from the Twin Cities. So much to do in nearby towns. Cabin was very cozy with an amazing view of the lake. Perfect for our Fall getaway.
Cabin was clean inside, had everything you need, shower was smaller than expected however didn't matter we had a wonderful time. Location was perfect close to town but not to close so you have your quiet and privacy. Beautiful views from the deck, that's where we spent most of our time was on the deck! Great cabin for us 2 adults and our fur baby had plenty of room. So awesome to find a pet friendly place that was so clean! They even had water toys, board games, and movies for you! Bed was soooo comfortable was very easy to want to sleep in! Hiked Waboose trail that was nearby was amazingly pretty, Park Rapids was close to get groceries and little shops. Only thing would have been nice to have a couple more lamps in main area got a little dark haha otherwise this is an amazing cabin would definitely recommend this to others! Thank you guys so much and thanks for the chocolates they were delicious!

Peaceful and Scenic
This lake cabin was as advertised. Quiet and rustic with a wonderful view from the back porch. The owners/managers were very responsive to our queries. A couple of things one should be aware of: well water so bring your own water for drinking, coffee, etc. and if you’re trailering a boat, the driveway can be a challenge.
