Retreat to a Former Chapel, Peaceful location, ideal for privacy and relaxation.
This former Chapel has been converted to very high standards, providing a full Kitchen, Lounge and downstairs shower room, along with a mezzanine floor housing a beautiful bedroom complete with wardrobe. It feels very spacious with the open plan design. The lounge is most comfortable, and especially cosy in the winter, thanks to a hard working log burner (first basket of logs included). All backed up when required with underfloor heating, and a towel rail. Floors and shower room walls downstairs are finished in superb Welsh Black Slate Tiles, and windows are large, letting in oodles of light. Blinds and curtains are fitted for guests who like privacy, including a blackout blind in the bedroom. We have installed low lighting on the stairs and external PIR lighting for convenience. There is a dining area with table and 2 chairs, and sideboard where we stash all those little tourist information books, games or reading matter, and not forgetting a place on the wall for the new TV! Plenty of outside furniture sits around the patio, complete with a BBQ in the summer months, when our plants bloom as a country garden should. Guests can be assured that all safety measures are in place for their protection, including up to date certificates for our Gas/Chimney/Fire and Electricity installations.

Hello Cherie, thank you for staying with us. June is always a good month to catch more wildlife before the crops become so tall. Every month offers a different view!
Was perfect for a three night (or longer) stay for couples in a quiet location in the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Easy driving distance to Boston, Lincoln and Skegness and other attractions. Great pub food including Sunday Roast at the Coach House pub at the end of the road. Would stay there again

Thank you for your review Mark, great to hear the refurnished Coach House has got off to a good start, customers have missed it!
Love this little converted chapel in the middle of the Lincolnshire countryside. We spent a long weekend relaxing there in front of the wood burning stove. I can’t fault anything about the place and I hope we can go back again soon.

Margaret
property is perfect, exactly as advertised, cold outside in february but very cozy in the property. Plenty of logs made available for a log fire, immaculate conversion from a disused methodist chapel. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Thank you Colin for a lovely review of the Chapel, I am pleased you both found it to be cozy and just as advertised!
The Chapel is a beautiful place, so peaceful inside and out and Margaret is a very friendly owner. The property was very clean and welcoming and the welcome gifts were most unexpected but much appreciated. If you want a little hideaway from the world, but with civilization in easy reach, I would thoroughly recommend a stay. I definately plan to visit again!

I am so pleased you had an enjoyable stay with us, and i was able to make your stay comfortable too. I hope you would consider us again in the future.
Kind regards

My husband and I settled on a trip to England for our 10th wedding anniversary, and this chapel was the perfect place to rest and relax and recharge.
The chapel was perfect for 2 people with plenty of space on the first floor to stretch out, and a cozy bedroom upstairs with a nice view of the night sky out the sky light window.
We loved our time in the chapel and would love to get a chance to return some day.

Dear Amanda,
It was our pleasure to host you and Ben, and you left the Chapel in a super tidy condition. It was lovely talking to you, and very exciting to be able to help with your arrival plans, having only landed in this Country that day. I hope you had a pleasant flight home, and it would be lovely to be able to host you again.
Very best wishes
Margaret
The property was clean, well maintained and fully equiped (including a welcoming bottle of wine).
The surrounding area was extremely quiet and the mild weather allowed us to sit and eat outside whilst watching the rabbits and birds.
Although it's fairly isolated, Spilsby is a short drive away.
Margaret (the host) was always quick to reply to any queries.
My husband and I stayed here for a few nights for our honeymoon and it was absolutely faultless - clean, light, airy and surrounded by idyllic surroundings and peace and quiet - just what we wanted !
We plan on coming back for our wedding anniversary next year :-)
Margaret kindly gifted a nice bottle of champers which was greatly appreciated, and also recommended Huttoft Beach which was a lot quieter than the hustle and bustle of Skegness/Mablethorpe etc
Thank you again, and we’ll see you again next year !

Thank you Lauren for a fabulous review, and so promptly sent. I’m pleased you had a lovely stay and I’m glad you checked out Huttoft, beach, we spent many summers there with our grandchildren, especially cycling the path to Mablethoroe or Sutton. I hope you do choose to stay with us to celebrate your 1st anniversary, take care for now.
We had the most amazing stay at the chapel . From arrival to finish it was simply amazing and peacefully prefect , excellent maid service with nothing to fault . We loved the personal touches and beautiful idyllic setting with views and sky’s to take us away from the usual hustle and bustle of busy lives . We explored the surrounding areas and walks finishing back at the lovely cosy chapel. We will miss it very much and look forward to returning in the future . A real gem and credit to the owner !
Thank you Margaret x

Hello Keely, What a lovely review, thank you so much indeed. I agree, the Chapel is a little gem, so relaxing there too. I must also thank you for leaving her as you found her, so comforting.
I really hope we get the chance to host you again in the future.
Stay safe, kindest wishes Margaret
What a lovely cottage, one of the best we've ever had! When you see the condition it was in before it was turned into a cottage, you have to admire the skills of the people who made it into this nice, modern holiday cottage.
If the weather had been better, we would have been able to enjoy its garden even more because there are plenty of places outside, where you could sit in the sun.
The road to the cottage is a bumpy ride but that's part of the charm, I suppose. Margaret's descriptions were clear and we found it straight away.
Inside, it's remarkably spacious and well-equiped.
Certainly a place where we would love to go again.

Thank you Arno and Agnes, a very fair and complimentary review. Your care of the Chapel was exceptional, likewise your communication with me. I want to thank you for being wonderful guests, who in all honesty kept the Chapel so clean it was hard to tell you had stayed for a week. I wish I could have given you more than 5 stars!!!
The conversion of the Chapel has been done with a great deal of thought, imagination and attention to detail and comfort. It is well-equipped and immaculately clean. Touches of luxury like the shower, the soft, fluffy white towels, the bed linen and a supremely comfortable bed add to the enjoyment of a stay here. It is well placed for trips to Lincoln, Louth, Boston and the coast as well as being very close to the beautiful Wolds. Folders of information about chapel and the area make it easy to plan how to fill your days. Sitting out on the small, sheltered patio with a drink is a lovely way to end the day. Margaret has created a lovely place for a peaceful get-away.

Thank you so much Sally for such an informative review. Naturally I am also pleased your weeks holiday with us was very comfortable and obviously as relaxing. Maintaining 5* standard, and I quote,' touches of luxury' keep us very busy indeed, but worth every moment when I read your review.
We had a blissful 5 days and enjoyed every moment. Loved the accommodation, the tranquil surroundings and the 'Big Skies'. Looking forward to returning in the winter months when we can try out the wood burner.

Such delightful guests, communication was perfect from day 1, and I am very pleased their stay was so blissful. Frances and David left the Chapel Immaculate, as if it was their own, I couldn't be more happy, thank you both.
I hope we do have the opportunity to host them both again in the not too distant future!
