SELF/KEYLESS CHECK IN Our Cozy Cabin is 2 miles from Crystal Mountain. Our home has two bedrooms and one bath with loft area in this adorable cabin. The first bedroom has a brand new Queen bed. The second bedroom has a Twin over Full bunk. Both rooms have storage/dressers. NEWLY ADDED brand new kitchen with dishwaser and stackable full sized washer and dryer. Laundry soap provided (along with coffee, filters, toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, dishwasher tablets, tissues).

The living room offers comfy seating for everyone, including a Smart TV with free WiFi to stream all your favorites, and games for kids of all ages. We have a variety of movies (DVDs) to choose from. Our kitchen is fully stocked for all your get away needs.

Our bathroom is completely remodeled. Everyone gets a hot shower with our On-Demand Tankless Water Heater! Everything is clean and cozy in this amazing cabin and is very affordable. We strive for everyone to have a fantastic time in our little cabin up north.

We have an enclosed private patio where you will love having morning coffee or evening beverages. Full sized gas grill just outside the door for your use as well!

We have an extensive list of area attractions that we can send you upon request.

Cozy cottage just 2 miles from Crystal Mountain!

We really enjoyed the cottage feel and spent a lot more time together (when we weren't skiing) in the common space than we would have in a larger place. We had a great stay!

Great little cabin!

My family of five loved our stay in the Cozy Cabin! Ken and Jen were so easy to work with and were very responsive to our questions. The cabin was clean, cute, and had everything we needed. The kids loved the loft, and the bathroom was very nicely updated. The area is beautiful with lots to do (I especially recommend the Baldy Trails at Arcadia Dunes). We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Ski Cabin

Great ski cabin location for Crystal Mountain. A quick 4 minute drive to the mountain. The owners were very informative and absolutely wonderful with communication. The house was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. Plenty of space for a family of 6. We would stay here again for sure!

Great stay

The inside of the cabin was incredibly clean and well cared for, the bathroom was fully stocked with toiletries and towels, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds, pillows, and sheets were all super comfortable. We did have an issue however the property owners were QUICK to respond and QUICK to resolve which meant SO much. Thanks for having us!

This was the perfect landing pad for our trip to attend a wedding weekend at Crystal Mountain. The cabin was adorable and very clean. Plenty of room, especially if traveling with kids. Good water. Blankets and towels are provided - more than what was needed. The outdoor spaces seem to be a work in progress, but that wasn't what we were there for, so it fit our needs. Note: This is a cabin in town, close to neighbors. But the neighborhood was very quiet. Would definitely recommend if you're lookiing for a central point along the northeast coastal towns.

Perfect location

This cozy cabin is the perfect location for many day trips (Frankfort, Arcadia Dunes, Traverse City), or is 2 minutes away from Crystal Mountain if you prefer to stay close to "home". The cabin was the perfect size for our family of 4 and even could have accommodated a couple more. The property was easy to get to a d felt like it was in a safe area. Jen and Ken were so responsive and more than willing to provide a ton of recommendations! We will be going again, as there was just too much to fit in during one weekend!

Cozy cabin - perfect winter getaway!

This is a pretty small/cozy cabin, but as described in the listing and was perfect for our family of 5 (3 younger kids). We enjoyed skiing at Crystal Mountain, tubing in TC, and hit local restaurants with an amazingly unique dining experience (tents at IronFish & igloos at St Ambrose). We also had an amazing winter hike near Crystal Lake, and ate at the brewery there. We love Northern MI! Ken was great on communication, and even came and shoveled our driveway and porch when we got 18" of snow!

Nice quiet getaway.

The owners put great effort in making our stay comfortable.The cabin was clean and neat as well as having a welcoming decor. New bathroom was extra nice. They were quick with communicating with us when we had questions prior to our visit. The cabin is in a quiet location, at the edge of town. A short 1/2 mile walk ( for us, bike ride) brought us to a cheerful local restaurant ( with outside dining) and the trailhead of the Betsie Valley bike trail! We enjoyed our stay. Wonderful experience

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at the cozy cabin. The owners, Jen and Ken, were excellent. They are very friendly and great communicators, and bailed us out with a mechanic reference when we had an unexpected car problems during our visit. The cabin itself is as advertised. Rustic, but modern on the inside, and very clean. It had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing honeymoon week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again in the future. And did I mention the owners are great? Thank you!

Charming and super clean cabin ready for fun!

Owners were great communicators and very helpful. Extremely clean cabin, not even a speck of dust anywhere! Lots of stocked items for the kitchen, extra blankets that made the stay more comfortable. Super fun area with so many things to do. Owners gave us a great list of recommendations that was crucial to planning our trip. Cabin is super close to crystal mountain and we enjoyed doing the alpine slide and legacy art walk there. We travelled all over the area to see the beaches and pointe betsy was a highlight!! Couldn’t have been happier with our trip. Cabin is about 30 min away from sleeping bear dunes, 5 min from crystal mountain.

Perfect Summer Get-Away

This is our second time staying in this beautiful chalet-type home and we are sure to be back!! Everything is neat and tidy and the owners utilized every available inch to offer guests all the amenities you could want...and throw in bikes as well which is a great way to see the immediate area!! The new patio and kitchen were great additions since our last stay!! Highly recommend this property!!

We are Ken and Jen. We have been coming to the area for 10 years for skiing at Crystal Mountain Resort and have decided to make the switch to Up-North living enjoying the summer activities as well. The greater Thompsonville area is in the center for everything Northern Michigan has available! From Arcadia Bluffs and the bagpiper at sunset, to Frankfort with an ice cream for a walk on the beach, to Sleeping Bear Dunes... The most beautiful place in America... Not to mention the local attractions Iron Fish Distillery and St. Ambrose/Brose Brewing all within a few miles. We Love It! and you will too!! Short drive in to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear or local fishing, camping or snow sports.
