Beautiful retreat!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on the beautiful property! I spent much time out on the porch, just relaxing and taking in the views and drinking coffee! Homeowner is very kind and personable as well. I highly recommend this home for your home away from home!

Disliked: Listing accuracy
The property was beautiful, offers thoughtful touches like snacks for pets but is realistically too small for 8 adults; it could fit 2 adults with 3 children comfortably, especially if the adults are not particularly tall or require extra space. Sleeping on the floor with a 6’2” partner highlights how the property’s claimed capacity is unrealistic and not suitable for taller adults or larger groups.

Nice house

We got lost finding the house because our GPS was wrong. The road has 2 sections. I guess I didn't read up on that in the listing. I loved that they allow dogs. I made sure to clean up after my pup.

This was our 4th year vacationing at Brian Campbell's cabin, always during the week after the 4th of July Holiday. Things we love about the cabin: Comfort, convenience, location, familiarity, seclusion, space. There's lots of space for the Grand Kids (11, 9, and 6) to run around and bike in on-site. We even hold the family summer olympics doing fun events and earning goofy prizes! The cabin is conveniently located to anywhere we want to go. Of course, the kids love playing at the beaches and in the various lakes. We all have a great time and love the cabin. It's like an old, very dear friend. The kids even consider it THEIR cabin! You'll be hard pressed to convince them otherwise Brian.

Stayed at this property with my French Brittany and hunted the area. Ideal property for this. Plenty of room for the dog to run outside without fear of traffic or getting on adjacent properties.

My family and i had a wonderful stay here. They have everything you need. When we walked in the door there was snacks and even some treats for our dog. The furniture was very comfy and nice to come back to from a long day. We loved the quietness and all the stars at night. Great Outdoor Fun.

A nice and cozy house tucked in the middle of the woods with plenty of property to have your dog(s) roam. Also you're close to plenty of hiking and other outdoor activities. Tippy Damn and Cadillac were the two places nearby we visited, but there is plenty more to offer. Staying on the property itself is enjoyment on it's own, and the firepit area was truly a great place to star watch at night.

Cute and quiet

The property is beautiful. The owner kept in touch and everything worked the way it should. Very secluded. My kids loved the bunk beds. I was able to relax enough to finish a book, which I added to the collection. Tysm.

Super secluded

The property is surrounded by hills on three sides, which really adds to the sense of seclusion. I think I could only see one neighbor, far away, from one corner of the property. All of the facilities were in working order. The house was clean. The owner was friendly and responsive. Would recommend.

So peaceful!

Loved that we could turn our dogs loose to run the yard all around the house. We liked the kitchen setup and all the available tools and staples to work with. The washer and dryer were a great bonus to catch up on our laundry. It was nice to be able to adjust the tv to view wherever we were in the room. The carpet and recliners are worse for wear but overall we enjoyed our visit.

Grandkids

We had stayed at the Campbell cabin (Wolf Lodge) last summer and the Grandkids (all under 10 yrs old) loved it and wanted stay there again this summer for an even longer stay! We loved the location. It was close enough to every place we wanted to visit. Removed from neighbors. The long driveway provided a place for the kids to safely ride their bikes. They also loved having ample yard space to run around and play. The cabin itself was the perfect size for all of us. The boys loved the bunk beds and our 4 yr old Granddaughter loved the special bed. We grownups were very comfy in our bed, too. The AC worked like a charm and the kitchen was just the right size with all appliances working properly. We went to various beaches mostly and revisited some restaurants for lunch (we had breakfast and dinner at the cabin usually. Days were full of activities, but we also enjoyed some down time at the cabin. The kids played on their pads, and we grownups watched just enough TV. This is an ideal place to spend a week's worth of summer vacation and highly recommend it to anyone!

We had another great stay at this rental! We come to Mesick for a 4 day preaching conference. This year we extended our stay for the whole week to be able to enjoy some extra family relaxing at the house. Check in was very easy, the owners have great communication. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances to meet all the needs we had. A regular coffee machine if we wanted to brew a whole pot, and a keurig for individual cups. Plenty of pots, pans, and utensils to cook our food with. Also there is a grill that we for hot dogs and brats and enjoyed eating outside at the picnic table by the firepit.
