**NO HIDDEN FEES, JUST RATE AND TAX**
Garden unit features a kitchenette with new cabinetry, granite countertops, living room, bedroom, spacious bathroom with a large shower and a private oversized patio garden. The Garden unit sleeps up to four, with a king bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. For added convenience there are 42' flat-screen TVs with cable in every room, washer/dryer, dishwasher, iron & ironing board, free wireless internet, central air conditioning (dedicated to each unit), off street parking with close beach access. While staying in our Gardens, you will have access to the DeSoto Beach Hotel’s (located next door) beachfront pool & sundeck, beach chair, and umbrella rentals.

Great Getaway (If they fix a few things)
The description is on point. The location is great. Check-in was easy. Parking is across the street is easy and not a problem at all. The bedding and towels are super clean and feel/look new and fresh.
Unfortunately, our shower had a leak that was obviously not a new issue and the room was not as clean as advertised or even as it should be.
It is my hope that they will fix the source of the problem before renting this cottage and give this cottage a thorough cleaning (moving furniture, baseboards, new rugs, etc.) before renting again.
I understand there is a labor shortage and perhaps that's why the room was not cleaned very well. I addressed my concerns with the owner but did not get a response.
I don't think I'll go back to this specific cottage without assurances that the problems have been fixed.

Parking
Parking is across a 4 lane road with no near by cross walk. The “parking lot” is a private residence with no “no parking” signs. The hotel will not allow you to park in their parking deck even when we expressed concern for the safety of our belongings in the car. According to the hotel this unit is the only one that is required to park across the street.
