I recently spent a few days here with my mother and GF, we were looking to escape the tourist down south so we came up to Chiang Mai, BaanChandra is a delightful compound of 3 Thai style bungalows, we had 2 bedrooms one upstairs and one down, Both very clean and the beds were amazing.
Our host was so gracious checked us in and also provided breakfast for a few days, 2 bikes for use and any local info we needed. Only gripe is the location, this place is wonderfully off the beaten path so having anything delivered or even arriving from the airport is a challenge for anyone who doesn’t speak Thai language. Other than that and the night time bugs which are plenty. We would come back and visit again and again.
Thanks for hosting us and we hope to return!

I graduated in the arts and are passionate about architecture. Father, before getting to work, the teacher used to work on construction work. We therefore see the value of the old wood that the villagers dismantled for sale. Gradually collected and built to make the old house come alive again.
