Step back in time with one of North Ocean City's more original style houses with this Rustic home off of 124th street and Assawoman Drive, which is the side street along the Ocean Block that runs parallel to Coastal Highway! You are just steps from the beach, not even a 1/2 block! This house comes with a front and back porch, a large back yard to throw the football around, outdoor shower to wash the sand off your feet and tucked away on the Ocean Block! 3 bedroom, 2 bath, Kitchen has gas stove, full size refrigerator (No Dishwasher). There is not a washer/dryer in this house, unfortunately. Come take a look for yourself and check out that awesome, gigantic Nautical Steering Wheel chandelier in the living/ dining room!

Great home and location!

Our family really enjoyed this home and the location. Short walk to the beach, close to shops and food, the house was great, and the host was awesome to work with. Will definitely stay again!

Small and without many of the bells and whistles that you find in some rentals but the distance to the beach is fantastic and the rental agency is wonderful to work with. This was our second stay in this cozy little house nestled among the multi-story condos.

The property looks just like the photos, so there were no surprises regarding its appearance. However, we were disappointed by several issues that significantly impacted our stay.The listing advertises a washer and dryer, but there was no washer or dryer available. Cleanliness was also a major concern. The comforters on the beds did not appear to be clean, and when we pulled back the bedding, the mattresses and beds were stained and in very poor condition. The bathrooms and kitchen were also not cleaned to an acceptable standard upon our arrival.Although the house rules state that guests should not leave items behind, the closets and cabinets were filled with food, cleaning supplies, paper products, and other miscellaneous belongings from previous renters. This made the space feel cluttered and poorly maintained.The air conditioning was inadequate. The units barely cooled the home, and the first-floor bedroom did not have an air conditioner at all, making it uncomfortable to sleep in.There were also safety concerns. The light fixtures are outdated, and several electrical outlets appeared old and in need of repair or replacement.Overall, while the property matched the listing photos, the lack of cleanliness, inaccurate amenities, maintenance issues, and safety concerns were disappointing. We would not book this rental again unless these issues are thoroughly addressed.

Hi Trish, Thank you for the feedback. I can assure you the listing does not state there is a washer and or dryer. You showed me a "VRBO" review of someone who obviously attached the review to the wrong property. The 3 bedroom 2 full bath ocean block house rents for $1400/week, for the July 4th week. If there were a washer and dryer, and the decor not rustic, the house have a rental rate of $3500/week. The cleaning issue I would've certainly corrected, had I'd known. There was no discussion about the cleanliness. You contacted me about the lack of washer/dryer only. I provided you the info on the 2 closest laundromats. I'm sorry you were not happy with the property and I do appreciate your feedback.

Great location , rustic house with yard

House is older but a great value for the $$.. its not the hilton and could use some updates , but overall we were pleased. Property manager Grace is wonderful and answered all my questions and concerns in a timely fashion.
