Rooms were exceptionally clean & decorative. Host was extremely accommodating to all of our needs. Pet friendly! Fabulous place to stay and enjoy the Ocala National Forest. Lots of things to do in the area.

We had a wonderful time. The host has created a wonderful warm home. The house was clean, welcoming and homey. They had snacks and water to welcome us. As well as everything you would need from a home away from home. If ever visiting Silver Springs again we definitely would see if this place was available. Kudos to a great host!

The water did not work in the morning. When we tried communicating that to the owner they choose not to send a plumber. When we returned to the house in the evening the water still didnt work. We had to go get a hotel. Very bad decisions by the home owner. They stopped answering calls in the evening when we found out they had not fixed the water. Never trust this property with your vacation.

Recommended highly for all needs

Plenty of bedrooms, nice visiting area and dining area for families. All the amenities, just bring your groceries. Relaxing is easy around the firepit at night. Close enough to attractions either west or east for day trips. This is our second time for a week-long stay. Very friendly and accommodating.

Peaceful setting

My guys needed a local place to a project in Silver Springs.We had trucks and trailers and this property allowed for this! Property manager, Allyn, was great! We will look to stay here again!

Long weekend of forest exploration

There were six of us. We explored all parts of the forest over a 4-day weekend. Weather was perfect. Third time staying here. It meets our needs, nice having 4 separate bedrooms.

Natural Springs get away

Easy Stay for Family Emergency

We had family business to attend in the area & this was the perfect place for us to stay. The listing was completely accurate and clear. If you are not familiar with the area that the property is located, do your research. I saw that some had complained about the location, but that’s just the area…lol I grew up there. So I’m.familiar with the local wildlife, so to speak. Amenities in the area are limited, but about 15-20 miles from EVERYTHING you cou possibly want. If quiet is what you are looking for, this is the place to book!

The stay was nice but there were a few issues water pressure was very low and porch lights were not working but over all a great place to stay a bit out of the way but I would go again good price and comfortable. We had to leave on the last night because of a medical emergency sorry I did not get to meet the nice lady that helped us when booking.

We enjoyed our 10 day stay at this property in the Ocala National Forest. It is very quiet which is what we wanted. The house is a little older but it has been fixed up by the owners. AC kept the house nice and cool the ceiling mounted fans kept the air moving. All 4 bedrooms were well equipped. Both bathrooms had showers. A grocery store is close by. We would stay there again.

Nice quick getaway

Place had everything you need. Plenty of sleeping places for everyone. All the kitchen gadgets/equipments plus seasoning. Games for kids and snack and coffee/water provided. Water got nice and HOT for everyone to shower. Person to contact was quick to reply and tried to be helpful as much as possible. But the place needs some fixing up. We couldnt get the TV to work. Sound will be coming out but no visual. One shower was down (master bedroom) due to slow drainage and caused flooding in bathroom. Other than that, it was a good stay and i would rent again.

We stayed for a total of 7 days & 6 nights. The house was very nice with plenty of room. The decor was relaxing and comfortable. It is a bit of a drive from Ocala but if you like the country feel, this would be a great choice. We booked with Envolve for this stay to attend our eldest sons wedding. Allyn, was very accommodating & prompt with any necessary needs. The main bathroom had a few issues we found the first night but he had the plumber out promptly to fix it. We would book through Envolve again for our next trip for an extended stay with hopes in a few years to move to Florida. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We had an amazing stay...

What an amazing place to spend our weekend away, Thank You! There was plenty of room for everyone, 3 queen beds and 1 king. One of the big reasons we rented this house were the big comfy chairs pictured. Where we could put our feet up to rest in the evening. Everyone loved the way the house was decorated; they especially loved the bears. We always enjoy houses where they leave the non-perishable items in the closet for future guests. That’s a nice touch! Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. We did have some trouble finding the bath towels; they were all stored in the master bathroom. Perhaps it might be a good idea to store some in the 2ndry bathroom as well. But our guests did bring their own towels so that worked out well. Be aware, the house is on the left side going in, our GPS said it was on the right; and it’s on a dirt road. The area was lovely and quiet, we could hear the woods and the animals around us. We never even turned the TV on, so we don’t know anything about that.

Exactly What We Were Hoping For

Spacious and charming, this property is private and quiet, with everything you need for a home-away-from-home. Set in the National Forest, you have abundant options to explore nature in a central location. You will need to drive to reach trails or springs, but that is true of anywhere in the area. The yard was large and peaceful with a huge fire pit and available firewood (we didn't end up using this in August, but appreciated it!) The kitchen is well-equipped, the wood siding and bathroom in the master suite are lovely, and the washer/dryer is a giant bonus. Plenty of room to sleep or lounge, games and books, and a grill for cooking - who could ask for more? Allyn was helpful and cordial in our interactions, and a gracious and wonderful host. There is not much in the immediate area in the way of entertainment/nightlife, so you need to drive if that is what you are looking for. The road is unpaved and likely hard to navigate without an SUV or truck, and there is foot traffic in the neighborhood, but nothing worth worrying about. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and I wish we could have spent a couple more days. If you're looking for isolation and to be close to nature - tree frogs came to visit the back porch nightly - then this is for you! (P.S. - bring bug spray for anywhere in this area. It is the forest!)

Not the Greatest Experience

To start, the management company failed to send the check-in instructions for the property. I figured they would be sent by 3 pm, the check-in time. 3 pm came and went, and no communication, so I call the management company, Evolve. They said the email was sent, but I know it wasn’t because I had many prior emails from the same email address in regards to our dog that was accompanying us. Anyhow, they sent the email but did advise that we would have to reach out to the property owner to get the lock box code. The owner was unreachable, so we sat outside while ourselves and the management company attempted to contact the owner. Evolve did offer for us to go somewhere to eat so we could sit inside and they would reimburse us for dinner, so we did just that. Angie at Evolve was very helpful and we were grateful to be able to have dinner while we waited. The owner did finally reach out while we were at the restaurant and gave us the lock box code. The house was mostly clean aside from the mushrooms growing from the floor inside the master bath. No tops sheets were on the bed, just the comforter so we had to remake the beds ourself. Gaming chairs in the living room in front of the only tv with cable/ WiFi which was a little uncomfortable. The setup is not great, but it is a useable area. There is a large dinning room table and a breakfast nook next to the kitchen. A/C works great. Newer and clean washer and dryer. Gated yard was a plus as the neighborhood is not optimal. Overall, not the greatest experience but it worked for the weekend we stayed. We would not choose to stay here again. Alexander Springs was great. Silver Glen Springs…would NOT recommend!!! I would highly recommend reaching out to the management company and the property owner prior to your arrival date to make sure you have all of the instructions and are able to get inside the residence.

El lugar muy tranquilo me encanto lamentablemente la casa por dentro requiere de más limpieza y había cucarachas y cuando veníamos en el carro recién salimos de la casa mi hijo traía una chinche pegada en su piel lastimosamente no volveré ha rentar ahí .
