Live and workout like a local! Casita Jiu-Jitsu is a brand new, backyard casita with a complimentary membership to Rincon Jiu-Jitsu for your stay. Set in a tropically landscaped property, this indoor-outdoor casita offers guests a studio living space, outdoor kitchen area, full separate bathroom, and a lounge/hammock area with a wifi-connected projector for entertainment. Less than a 1/2 mile to restaurants, groceries, Rincón Jiu-Jitsu, and the nearest beach!
Outside the large sleeping quarters, is a fully functioning, covered kitchen (hot plate, sink, refrigerator, plates, utensils) with a dining/lounging area. Once evening comes around, a wifi-connected projector is available for entertainment.

Steven Barnett was awarded his black belt from both Professor Kurt Pellegrino and Professor Marcelo Garcia in 2013. Steven Barnett has taught and trained all over the world, in places such as Costa Rica, Peru, Portugal, Mexico, and Vietnam. Professor Barnett has fought amateur and professional MMA with an overall record of (4-3). Steven is still an active grappling competitor. He has placed in multiple IBJJF tournaments and won super fights in organizations such as Fight to Win. His passion for teaching is obvious. He has a great ability to communicate and is extremely detail-oriented.
Professor Barnett opened his first mixed martial arts school in New Jersey, The Inferno Training and Performance Center, in 2011. He spends his time between Puerto Rico and New Jersey, where his brown-belt understudy George Tampa, helps run his original facility.
