Enjoy a luxurious vacation in this 8+ bedroom, 7.5 bath home, only a few steps from your private beach in the prestigious gated community of Gull's Nest, Bethany Beach, Delaware. Complete with heated pool and elevator.



This fabulous home with nearby private beach is equipped to host several families for vacation or reunion, a large group of friends for a great week at the beach or co-workers for a corporate retreat. It features four separate master suites with sitting areas and balconies, private full baths, as well as four other bedrooms and additional pullout couches, all with high quality bedding and tasteful, up-to-date decor. The home will comfortably sleep 16 people or more.



Rare amenities included in this amazing home: HEATED POOL, open mid May through November (heat by request in spring and fall for an extra fee), a pool house with a steam shower, a game room with a full size billiard table and foosball, Wi-Fi throughout, and a custom wet bar. Televisions and audio systems abound. The dining room seats 18 and is serviced by a fully equipped gourmet kitchen and an outdoor gas grill.

After you book, you will receive instructions from Xplorie on how to schedule your activities. It's easy.



Please bring your own linens, towels, spices, oils, paper and plastic goods, i.e. paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, garbage bags, salt, pepper and oils. The kitchen is well equipped with all essential appliances, dishes, glass and silverware as well as serving dishes, etc. To rent linens and towels we recommend Gale Force Rentals in Ocean View. They deliver and pick up.

Wonderful week!

The house is very well equipped - multiple fridges, multiple washers/dryers. Super conducive to a large group. Location/walk to the beach is SO quick and close. Pool was heated and delightful. We would definitely stay here again.

Great family house

We all had a great time very big house lots of room. The toddlers loved the pool. And we all loved that we were so close to the ocean. I really recommend this house for a large family or lots of friends. Jeremy the owner was great very helpful when I needed it thanks again

This house was magical for our family. There is enough room to spread out, and an amazing kitchen/dining room for when we are all together! We spend time in the pool, beach, or nearby shopping. It is a cooks kitchen— every type of pot/pan/utensil/gadget you could want. We are thrillled to spend time here each summer

The listing was accurate and the house was well maintained and clean. Both the manager and owner were very accommodating. My family of 16 had a marvelous vacation, enjoying the beach, built in pool, pool table and theater. My health conscious children enjoyed the walking path which was close by. What a fantastic beach house! It had everything we needed. The pool was a wonderful treat after being on the beach all day. My only suggestion would be to have some plastic cups for the pool area. There was so much room for everyone. Looking forward to next year all ready. The week flew by.

This is our 3rd summer at this house and we really enjoy it. We already have it reserved for July 2024. We bring our children, grand children and a few in laws to this property. It has tremendous square footage so we can all spread out and not be on top of each other. The backyard pool is also a blessing as we jump in there after a full day on the beach. We hope to come back here for many years to come.

Overall great place and would return for sure. Could use some TLC ie exterior painting, but otherwise, just perfect for us. Pool: A plus.Just a few steps to beautiful private beach. Across the street in walking distance is a huge preserve on the bay side perfect for shaded walks and bike riding. The owner is very responsive and answers his cell readily. Same for propery manager. Would suggest owner purchase new blankets/comforters or bring your own.

50th Anniversary celebration

Our stay was a wonderful experience. This home easily accommodated our multi-aged group giving areas of privacy and quiet and room for joyous celebrations. The pool table, foosball and pool were in constant use. The multiple industrial refrigerators, utensils, and dishes were perfect for handling all the food necessary to feed our crowd. The ice-maker was a major plus, In constant use and able to keep up with demand. The home felt like a palace but not so luxurious that we were uncomfortable using it. A great beach home, just close enough to the beach. We appreciated the pool maintenance. Thank you for making this a very memorable week..

This house is fantastic! Has everything one could want in a vacay rental. Manager is responsive to any issues that come up. My one issue is the next door neighbor. My extended family were on the pool deck playing dominoes with the Beatles on speaker. The neighbor starts screaming out her window about quiet hours (it was after10) and told yelled telling us to GO INSIDE! We offered to turn off the music, she continued yelling, called the owner and Jeremy the next day to remind us. Owner and Jeremy handled it as best they could. So while this was a fantastic home with a great property manager and a gracious owner, I cannot recommend a large family Beachweek unless you’re ok, or at least indifferent to verbal abuse (she didn’t even try, as I would’ve, to ask nicely).

Incredible Location, Property Needs Maintenance

Our vacation rental had a fantastic location, just steps from the beach, with a large, private pool and plenty of space, making it ideal for a family getaway. The property offers great accommodations for a group, with ample beds and easy beach access. However, we encountered several issues that dampened our experience. The kitchen was dirty upon arrival—crumbs on the counter, grease on the stove, sand on the floor, and even a large urine stain on one of the mattresses. The space needs updating and better maintenance, with damaged walls, burnt-out light bulbs, a broken shower, and a malfunctioning pull-out sofa. There’s only one smart TV in the basement theater, and it didn’t work, plus no kids' DVDs were provided. Despite reporting these problems on check-in and the following day, the owner, Steve, was dismissive, citing end-of-season wear and tear. While the location and pool are great, the lack of cleanliness and upkeep makes us hesitant to rent here again.

We chose this location because of the size and location. The house is beautiful- a little outdated but that was fine. However, the conditions were very poor upon arrival. There was a whole load of laundry in the laundry machine that was dirty and not ours, dust, sand in the tubs, blood stains on the pillows and sheets, things on the wall that looked like dried boogers, fruit flies everywhere, dirt in the fridge, food and beverages left in the fridge, and I could go on. We were shocked that it looked like a cleaning person didn’t even come through, despite paying a cleaning fee and a large rental fee. Otherwise, there was obvious construction/work being done to the house, as large unopened packages sat throughout the house, there were different colors of paint on the outside and broken pieces of the deck that were “taped”. We really were looking forward to this stay, and still managed to have a good time, but we’re just overall disappointed.

The perfect house

This house was more than we could have imagined. Although there are beds that sleep 16 there are also pull out sofas that could accommodate more. No one felt over crowded and each had their own space. Entertainment space in the house suited our party of 14 without concern. Although not many neighbors were at home during our stay the ones that we ran into were very welcoming. Not having to get into the car to go to the beach was wonderful. The biggest plus in our trip was the heated pool. We spent plenty of fun filled hours hanging at the pool and the pool house was the perfect location to hold happy hour. We will definitely rent this home again.

Long Weekend at the Beach

Went with a large group of friends from college and had an amazing time. Plenty of pans and dishware and extra spots to sleep if you have a few extras in your group. It rained the first night so we hung out in the game room which was great with a full wet bar and mini fridge. The pool was excellent and the beach is right across the way. The house overall was decently clean but I would recommend bringing or renting your own comforters in addition to he sheets. Also we weren't aware the grill was attached to a gas line, which would have been nice in the instructions. We went out and bought a propane tank which we didn't end up using. Also there are plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas so you don't have to bring your own.
