We rented this home for a family vacation with my grown kids! Upon walking in you see the views from every angle! Which the pictures do not do justice. You have views from almost every room. We all loved the deck with ricking chairs, the spa and fire pit was a huge hit. The family room furniture was really comfortable and accommodated all 6 adults. I would recommend staying here

Everything was clean and in good working order. Only complaint was the no blinds in the living room or bedroom. Was very bright during the day

Hey Adam. Glad you enjoyed your stay. We have been working on getting shades put up after the remodel. Apologies for the inconvenience. To clarify, there had been a black out curtain in the master, is that still there?
Ski house in Silverthorne near to Keystone Resort (and other ski areas)
Really enjoyed our stay - the views are amazing, the space super comfortable, hot tub devine and the location can’t be beat. Definitely need 4WD vehicle to access the property in winter . Paige was a great communicator and everything went smoothly for our family ski vacation.

Thank you for the great review, Gregg! You were an ideal guest, communicated well and took care of our home. We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and hope to have you back in the future.
We really enjoyed our time at this place! The views and hot tub were unbeatable. The listing was exactly as pictured. Some condiments/pantry supplies were included. Since it is pet friendly, it did smell a little like dog in certain areas. The kitchen supplies were a little dirty but nothing we couldn’t clean off. For a large group the water heater was a small, resulting in some cold showers. Overall we would stay again! We loved it.

We’re very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Since it is peak season for us, we do apologize for any subpar cleaning. I will get up there ASAP to do a thorough cleaning when the bookings slow down. I’m also very surprised to hear you had hot water issues. We just replaced the water heater before winter to avoid previous problems. I’ll message you privately to get the details so we can hopefully address that. Thank you so much for your feedback and review. We hope to have you back in the future!
House was fantastic, modern and very comfortable. The property appears to be the highest on the mountain and the view looking out over Silverthorne and surrounding areas was amazing. Property manager was attentive and patient. I can definitely recommend this house!

Amazing views from top of the hill. Perfect size for couple and a dog, but plenty of extra beds for a bigger family. Newly done restrooms with heated floors were great. It also had lots of cleaning products which is perfect for COVID planning. Finally, there will be a new hot tub and fire pit coming. We plan on staying here again because so much safer than a hotel!

Stephanie, you were a dream guest. We look forward to hosting you again in the future!
Our family of 4 plus dog stayed for 10 days in early August. The views from the house are amazing and definitely the best feature. We found the house to be perfect for our needs. It was clean and organized, the beds were great, and the bathrooms were spacious. The kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed the open floor plan on the main level. Location was close to everything we wanted to do. We would definitely book again. Paige was wonderful to work with and communication was easy and informative.

Thank you so much for choosing the Summit Viewhouse! You were an absolute pleasure to have and we would be happy to welcome you back anytime.
We stayed at the summit view house during part of our wedding week, it was a beautiful location, the view from the home is AMAZING! The road going up to it was definitely steep, can’t imagine winter time, we didn’t have any problems though. Super grateful that it was dog friendly, there’s even a doggie door to access the deck. Hot tub and fire place were a must for us and both were perfect. We had no problems with hot water during our stay. We would for sure return!
Family really like all the views and the perfect location. We didn't want to leave. Our girls loved their rooms and access to the Smart TVs. Bathrooms were recently updated with heated floors. The location to hiking trails was a nice bonus. The owners/property managers were very resposive. Excellent photos from the deck. Thank you.

I surprised my wife with a private getaway for her 30th birthday and we both couldn’t have been any happier with this property!! We made so many lifetime memories here. The dogs loved the trails around the house. Everything was so amazing, the house, the deck, and obviously the views! Paige was the absolute best to work with and we can’t wait to come back to enjoy this property again! Stop looking at anything else and book this beautiful home ASAP! You won’t be disappointed!
Second time staying at this property. Gave four star rating for accuracy of online listing due to one issue. The grill is horrible, corroded and falling apart. Cooking on it was a bad experience. Otherwise everything was great.

We do apologize that the grill was not up to your standards. Unfortunately, it does take a beating with the mountaintop weather as well as people not cleaning it properly and covering it after use. We did do a full interior remodel since your first stay so we hope that you enjoyed all of the upgrades. A new grill has been ordered and will be on site this weekend. Thank you for choosing our home for another getaway.
We give this place 5+ stars for the view!
Plenty of comfortable beds for the whole family. Great deck and patio area with hot tub and fire pit. We were bummed the first night we arrived, we went to get in hot tub and it was at 70 degrees. We started the heater and it was ready the next night and we enjoyed the hot tub for the rest of our stay. We were told in our email to stagger showers, laundry and dishwasher and we did that but still had a few cooler showers. The drive up is no joke but the map we received had 3 ways to get up to the house which helped a lot. It is worth it when you get to the top! Would definitely stay again😊great family vacation.

Hey Trina. Thank you so much for the review. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. I’m so sorry the hot tub wasn’t heated properly upon your arrival. We have it serviced between every stay. The technician who serviced it after you left made us aware that there was an issue. We brought an electrician up and apparently there was a loose wire that was affecting the motherboard and the heating element. He also discovered that the hot tub and water heater for the house were on the same breaker bar so it likely was the cause of the hot water issues inside as well. All has been corrected so neither should be an issue going forward. 😃 We hope to have you back again soon!
Overall this property was very clean, had a great view, and great amenities. Communication with the property manager went very smooth. Sent details morning of stay, and responded immediately when I messaged.
The view is simply spectacular. This was a great stay to relax and recuperate. Posting was super accurate, as was the details emailed morning of. Had everything we needed. Hot tub is huge! Also, nice to have spare dog bed and bowl to use. Deck is very nice also as it is completely enclosed so we could chill outside with our dog and not have to worry about anything.
Overall, great place. If you are looking for a place with a view (and right next to the Continental Divide Trail which is AWESOME), book this property. You won't regret it.

Thank you so much for the great review Jordan! We are so glad that you enjoyed yourselves and look forward to having you again in the future. 😃
The view is truly the best part of this house! We all found ourselves standing right at the window to take it all in. Had it not been super cold, I'm sure we would have enjoyed our time on the deck instead of inside. The drive uphill on the snow-packed road was no joke... you definitely need AWD or 4x4 in the winter.
While we enjoyed our stay and the recent renovations, it wasn't all smooth sailing. After a day of snow tubing and sitting in the hot tub (which was not the cleanest... some icky grime was built up along the edges), only 2 people had a warm shower. By the 3rd person's shower, there was no hot or even warm water to finish that shower. Needless to say, 2 others took a cold shower and 2 waited at least 3 hours before taking their shower (which did help because they had warm water, but if you didn't hurry, it started to run out then, too). Communication with the owner was very easy and she did direct me to check the breaker in case the shower use was too much on the system. Needless to say, while the owners are aware of this issue and shared that they have a plan to address it, it would have been really nice to have been given a warning that back to back showers would not mean hot water for everyone so we could have better timed our water usage! Additionally, there was not a single tissue box in the house, so you may want to bring your own. As for check-in and check-out, I had to call the owner because the door code wasn't working for us when we arrived (she corrected this quickly) and the check-out instructions were an attachment (the last of 4 attachments) to an email that was sent with check-in information. It was very easily overlooked for that reason and would be much easier to follow if they were printed and included in the binder on-site. Fortunately, when I was unable to find the check-out instructions, the owner quickly responded to my text to point me in the direction of the attachment and said that people often overlook it (glad we weren't the only ones!).
Even with those little hiccups, I think we'd consider staying here again. The location and picturesque views are hard to beat!
Our family had a wonderful time and loved our time at Summit View House. It was hard to leave this mountaintop retreat. We hope to come back again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.
Creepy owners and neighbors, cold hot tub, cold showers
If I could give this property 0 stars, I would. If you don’t value privacy at all, this is the place for you!!! Not only did this property break VRBO policy on surveillance cameras (it wasn’t in the description as required by VRBO prior to my stay), our family has never felt more watched. They have since updated their description to “2 cameras on the property to ensure prompt snow plow removal” and “to monitor usage and service of the hot tub,” but I can guarantee you this is the secondary purpose. The primary purpose is to SNOOP on customers. It was honestly a very creepy experience and I wouldn’t be surprised if they had cameras inside too. If that isn't enough, the owners also admitted that the neighbors snoop on you too! Not to mention we had freezing showers and the heavily advertised hot tub was under 90 degrees. Then they tried to charge us an event fee after we left when an event was approved with no fee in January. We got married at sunrise at Loveland Pass at 5:45am and had a family brunch following at the property (median age over 50) and everyone was gone by afternoon. On top of all this, the property manager didn’t even pretend to apologize for the mishaps and was EXTREMELY rude. The views are great but trust me when I say it is NOT worth it. This is the first time I have left a negative review of a property and by far the WORST experience I've ever had at a vacation rental. I am hoping this review helps others.

I believe all of our other reviews speak volumes regarding our home as well as the quality of people we are, so I won’t waste too much time on this. Had you been honest regarding hosting your wedding reception at our home, we would have let you know about the venue fee. Once informed of the fee, you then chose to complain. Our sweet neighbor simply text asking us to inform her of weddings so that her dogs would not be barking on her deck disturbing your event. She was being courteous, not nosy. Going forward, I recommend you be honest with hosts.
My husband and I stayed in this beautiful property with some close friends and we also had our small wedding here! The view is absolutely spectacular and everyone in our family and friends group were blown away by the location. I loved the cleanliness and organization of the space and it was such a joy to have that view of the mountains and Lake Dillon with every meal, card game, and for our special day. The space has absolutely everything you could need! My friends and I really loved the hot tub and the fire pit when the night got a little colder and windier.
I would definitely rebook this place in a heartbeat for a family trip or a weekend with friends. The hosts, Paige and Grant, are incredibly accommodating and helped in every step of booking the property and setting up our perfect mountain wedding. Don’t hesitate, it really is the best view in Summit County!

We’re so glad you enjoyed our home and even happier that it made for your perfect mountain wedding! We look forward to having you again in the future.
Property has what you need. We found it to be clean and comfortable. The view of course was incredible though the wind will howl at times. 4WD/AWD is a must in the winter.
What a beautiful, confortable and cozy house. As soon as we got there we all felt like it was our own. My kids still talk about it and ask when are we going back. You will find everything you need and more. All those details around the house are well thought and of good quality. I only text and spoke on the phone to the owner, but she is attentive and always ready in case you need her. And the views! I'm an artist and while my husband and my kids were skiing, I just sat in front of that wonderful window and paint and draw all the time. It was so inspiring. Also, big plus, the house is pet friendly and also it has some stuff for your dog too! Gameboards for the kids, Netflix, prime video and hulu. And last but not least, an amazing large hottub to use after my family got home with tired muscles.
We are looking forward to go there again.
We had an amazing time during our stay. Very clean, incredible views, and house was as advertised. Loved the new hot tub. Would definitely stay again.

Our 3 person dream team of Paige, Grant and Will are happy to welcome you to our amazing house. Will & Grant grew up together in Aurora Colorado while Paige grew up visiting Colorado from Georgia and eventually moving full time in 2003. We all still reside in Colorado whether it be in the Denver area or enjoying our time on the Western Slope.
Why they chose this property
With this house being in Grant's family for decades, we are so excited to share it with others to make unforgettable memories of their own. There is not a better view in the county and with the newly remodeled interior, it truly is a special place. We enjoy it quite often ourselves and hope that your experiences are as magical as ours.
What makes this property unique
With picture windows throughout the living room, our home offers the most gorgeous views that pictures just don't do them justice. The hot tub and fire pit on the patio are the absolute best for enjoying a beautiful sunset. With numerous ski resorts, outlets at your fingertips, and restaurants galore to choose from, you are right in the middle of mountain paradise. Spring, Summer and Fall are just as amazing as you can hike, dirt bike, fish and even rent a boat for a day on Lake Dillon. When the fall colors are in full bloom, you are right in the middle of all the beauty. In addition to the interior upgrades, we have carefully thought out any and everything you may need during your stay and seek to make you feel at home.
