Great cabin in a very nice area!
My family is already talking about going back. It's a very nice cabin. Plenty of room and lots to do in the area. We had a wonderful time.
Our stay was very nice. The cabin was very clean and close to everything. I did reach out via text message to the host and asked a question but never got an answer which is why I gave three stars there. Still, highly recommend staying here.
It was a great base to enjoy Snowflake 24th celebrations

Perfect location in Bison Ranch
This cabin is perfect for families. There is a ton of indoor and outdoor space, as well as, an entire cabinet of games. We loved waking up and spending time on the back deck in our pjs with coffee and looking for wild horses! There are plenty of blankets and pillows available and a gorgeous working fireplace!

The Eagle’s Nest Cabin is a 5
This is our second stay at the Eagles nest cabin. We love the homey atmosphere and sitting out on the back patio, watching the wild horses go by during different times of the day. Though each of the four days was around 95° for a high, the central air conditioning kept things very cool and comfortable. There were also various games, and DVDs for young and old alike.
The pictures of the property are exactly what you get. Comfortable furniture, beds and a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio and watching the wild horses morning and evening. As we were leaving our grandsons asked when are we coming bank. asking
Great cabin in on of the better locations at Bison Ranch. Very roomy and well equipped for a stay for either a couple or for families with kids. With a huge back patio and wonderful table out there, its a great place to sit in the shade and enjoy nature and watch for the wild horses. (Who did come visit several times during our visit.) Cabin has many amenities including dish TV, lots of games, and books to read. Plenty of seating for your group. Great communication from the management company and with the owner. Highly recommend.
This cabin was perfect for myself and my family. The three bedrooms were excellent as two of the bedrooms had three beds in each and the master had one large bed. Two restrooms made it very easy to accommodate a family. It is located in the prestigouse, beautiful Bison Ranch. The cabin makes you feel like you are far away from civilization with the wilderness out the back door. Wild horses would run off in the distance. The property is fenced off the back, but it is an unobstructed view of the great outdoors! Out the front door the community is safe and family friendly, offering a tennis court, fishing pond, basketball hoop, volleyball net and horse back riding. Just at the entrance of this community is a very cute old western town theme shops, escape room and a restaurant. Very adorable! This private community feels very safe. It's a great way to go camping (glamping) with the convenience of a kitchen, bbq, bathrooms, laundry and beds. We had a great stay and look forward to returning. The host was very helpful and kind👍
This was our 4th stay in Heber/Overgaard and was without a doubt the worst experience to date. The directions stated that the code to get the keys from the lock box were in the mailbox. Problem, there was no mailbox. When we called the local contact we learned she was located in Mesa, a suburb of Phoenix. Not exactly local. Then we tried to turn the lights on in the living room but nothing happened. Upon investigation, there was no light bulb in the lamp and the other one didn't work. I was told to ask one of the neighbors for bulbs. Really! Neither toilet worked properly. When you flushed either one, you had to stand there with your hand on the lever or the waste would not flush. If you didn't do that, the next time you used the toilet the would be flowers and soiled bathroom tissue in the bowl. The list goes on but I am running out of space. For the amount of money VRBO charged I expected better. I would not recommend this cabin to anyone at this price point. You can do much better. As far as VRBO goes, you may want to look at the commercials I saw all weekend telling people what a great outfit they are. Personally I will never, NEVER use anything from VRBO in the future again.

Cozy and Comfortable!
We loved our cabin! It was so cozy and comfortable. Great location, secluded but also close to anything we needed. We saw sooo many horses. Maria was a pleasure to work with. Great experience all around. Heber is a great area as well- we went to their Winterfest and it was so cute. Make sure you check it out if you visit during Thanksgiving weekend.
Our family had a great time. Relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. A great way to put the cell phones down and reconnect. Having adult children you see less and less of them and this was perfect for our family
We loved this cabin and plan to come back! The neighborhood was very quiet and we watched wild horses parade back and forth every day from the back porch. House has many beds and can accommodate a large group. It was very cozy and fully equipped. Highly recommend this lovely cabin!
We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous cabin! It was even more beautiful than the pictures depicted! It was so nice to sit on the back deck in the nice cool pines and watch the wild horses grazing and quietly sauntering past. There were even 4 or 5 foals and colts. The cabin was nicely stocked with everything you could need and there were plenty of beds. We loved sitting by the stone fireplace at night enjoying the fire because it was very cool at night. So nice to get away from the scorching heat of the valley. The Bison Ranch community is very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed going for walks with the children to the little park nearby and to the ranch to watch the bull , donkeys & horses. There are stores close by if you need to buy anything. Maria was very quick to respond if we needed anything!. We would definitely come again!
We rented this cabin to have Thanksgiving with our extended family that were hunting over the weekend. We are a large family of 9, and the space was very accommodating to our large family needs. Plenty of beds and space. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace.
This property helped us create an experience that won’t be so forgotten. The host was very thoughtful and communicative, and the house was fully prepared for us to live in comfortably. The horses were the cherry on top!
