Blue Lizard Cottage 2 - Walk/Bike Downtown&Beach

1920's Renovated Tropical Cottage with lots of charm in the heart of Downtown Lake Worth Beach-"Where the Tropics Begin". We are in a walkable, bike-friendly location a mile or so away from the beach, and just a few blocks from cute shops, restaurants, bars & special events. We are in very close proximity to Downtown West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Island, PBI Airport, and the new Brightline train station. We look forward to welcoming you in our lovely 2-bedroom 1-bathroom cottage. Renovated 2-bedroom 1-bathroom sunlit 1926 cottage including all necessary amenities to make your stay comfortable and feeling at home. It includes a full size kitchen and living room/dining room. It is full of natural light and airy tropical spaces.
It sleeps 5 comfortably with 1- Queen bed in the first bedroom, 2-Twin beds in the second bedroom (can be pushed together if needed for another couple), and a sleeper sofa in the living room. (pack-n-play available on request)

This property shares a courtyard with a 1-bedroom 1-bathroom cottage in the back (Blue Lizard Cottage 1). If interested in booking both listings, please check for availability or message us.

The courtyard is a little tropical oasis with mango trees, palms, hammock, tables, chairs, bbq grill perfect to enjoy a sunny day or an evening under the moonlight.

We provide beach towels in the closet. Contact us for additional amenities such as beach chairs, cooler, snorkeling gear and we can bring them prior to or during your stay. There are two bicycles available, please keep covered and locked when put away or taken out. There are bike shops down the street for extra rentals and accessories such as helmets etc. Also enjoy Echo Dot with Alexa as an amenity available in the living room for your relaxation, news, reminders etc.

cozy stay in a nice-sized town (we like Lake Worth!)

We had a relatively short stay (17 days) and it was enjoyable and problem-free. Despite the relatively small size of the house, it is carefully designed and contains everything you need.We sat out behind the house to eat many of our meals at the picnic table--nice breeze and shade, also a hammock. Walking distance to downtown, and you can even walk across the bridge to the beach. We did a lot of biking, and felt safe on the streets.

A thumbs up for the Blue Lizzard

I was on the hunt for the cleanest property I could find as I have had some negative experiences in the past, and this cottage did not disappoint. I am know to be "Mrs. Clean" and really could not find one thing wrong with this unit. Besides that, our hosts really thought of everything. They were very generous and thoughtful with the details down to day to day supplies that I was grateful for. The location is perfect if you want to head to the little town of Lake Worth on foot or head over to the beautiful beach. I have no hesitation to recommend the Blue Lizzard other than I want it to be available when we come back next year! A nice little gem of a place.
