Located within a 10-minute walk to the base lifts and ski school at South Ridge Lodge, Yogi's Hideaway is a cozy home offering guests a warm and inviting retreat complete with modern amenities and lovely rustic decor. The house is nestled in a tranquil setting amidst large, snowy pines on a large scenic lot with skiing and nightlife close enough to enjoy but far enough not to be heard.

The house is also a serene home base for Summer and Fall activities, with easy access to the myriad of events at Sunday River Resort, including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, golf, swimming holes, and river excursions. Perfect for wedding guests, scenic lift rides, Fall Festival, Tough Mountain Challenge, Maine Brew Fest, New England Forest Rally, and lots more. An upstairs workspace makes it possible to combine work with your favorite outdoor pursuits.

Yogi's Hideaway has been recently restyled to reflect its mountain setting with rustic elegant furniture and decor. Amenities at Yogi's Hideaway include a conveniently compact footprint yet open and spacious floor plan, a well-stocked kitchen and appliances (including a washer/dryer), a steam shower in the main floor bathroom, an oversized soaking tub in the upstairs Master Suite bathroom, a lower level game/media room, a deck for grilling, and an attached heated one-car garage stocked with sleds and snowshoes for guests to enjoy.

This is not a house for a large party group - this is a tasteful and lovingly-maintained home where the owners have enjoyed countless seasons with their family and friends at a world-class ski resort. They hope to share the good energy that this beautiful mountain getaway has to offer with you.

*Since this is not a continuously occupied property, it is equipped with exterior security camera(s) that record certain audio and video events but are not constantly monitored. No cameras are placed inside or with any view of the property's interior.*

Snow removal: All our homes are contracted with various snow removal companies in the area. This includes plow service and snow shoveling for decks and harder to reach areas.

Perfect ski getaway

Yogi’s Hideaway was perfect for our family of 4 Sunday River ski getaway. The house was so close to the mountain, very comfortable and clean, and well stocked with everything you could imagine. Will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone looking for a ski getaway.

Amazing house and location

This entire stay was a delight! Mark was super nice and easy to deal with, the house was perfection, so clean and so many nice touches (wireless charging on each side of the bed, heated mattress pads, well-stocked kitchen, the towels were so nice and fluffy I'd like to buy some for myself - I could go on and on). The 8-minute walk to the slopes was awesome. My only complaint is that now I never want to stay anywhere else ; )

Yogi retreat

My family enjoyed our weekend stay. The property is well maintained and we were able to request an early check in and late check out. Mark helped us navigate some lock box issues, but other than that, we had no issues. The house is on a quite street, was well stocked, clean and had a cozy feel. Two of the bedroom are on the main level, which was a bonus for an older family member, who could not navigate the stairs. It was a relaxing weekend and I would recommend this property as a family friendly get away.

Good location to Sunday River

Great cabin and very close to lifts. Property was clean and check in was easy. With that said the owner put a lock on the pullout coach so we couldn’t use it which makes no sense. For what we paid seemed pretty cheap. Without that I would have made this a 5 star review. Poor message to a renter who has paid a good rate.

Better than the pictures, pleasantly surprised.

Fit 5 adults very comfortably. Clean. Lots of amenities....water chiller, wifi, well stocked kitchen, grill. Getting in house was hard, front screen door was locked. Hard to figure out where to leave trash, bear-proof barrel seemed full and was in middle of yard. Overall those little things did not ruin it for us. Will try and rent again next year!

Comfort and location win + great hospitality

Our family of 5 enjoyed the layout of this very comfortable home. It was very well equipped with everything to make our long ski weekend feel like home. It was evident that the offerings were very well thought out from the linens to the kitchen gadgets and serving pieces. To top it all off, the location offered a very seamless transition for skiing. While we didn't take advantage of the potential to walk given the conditions and having our kids with us, the drive couldn't have been easier. Peak Properties provided incredible hospitality and remained very accessible during the stay - ensuring that the driveway would be plowed in the snow storm and then salted once the big freeze hit. We appreciated the level of communication. Strongly recommend experiencing if you are looking to ski at Sunday River!

True family retreat!

We rent a lot of ski cabins and this was our absolute favorite. Very quaint, yet modern and convenient. Great layout for our family of five. We couldn’t figure out how to get local news and the driveway was a bit steep. Otherwise we loved it and will be back! T

This place is really great- exactly the kind of rental we love to find.

Close to slopes, quiet, clean, beautifully decorated. They thought of everything. Cozy and warm. It was spacious and the kids had their own place to hang out and chill away from us. I’d rent here again. Also the rental company is very thoughtful, calling us to warm about bad weather in the forecast, and making sure we were all set with everything.

Amazing place with high touch finishings

I think the online description sells this place short. It’s fantastic and feels brand new. Lots of space, fully stocked, and great location. We could walk to lifts ~10 minutes. Well appointed with a cozy, rustic vibe. Kids loved the downstairs hang out room. Place was very clean. Hope to be back soon.
