Great location, close proximity to many local restaurants and grocery stores etc. All the basic essentials you need in a beach small beach getaway. Had no issues while we were staying there but it was easy to contact the property owner if needed.
We really enjoyed our stay. The location was awesome. I liked the vintage feel of the property.

Perfect location near the beach. Quiet neighborhood and very clean. The house was very clean the only thing I would say is the kitchen and bathroom need a little update but otherwise it was perfect. Property manager was very informative and quick to respond. I would definitely go back!
"Hannah's Place" is safe, convenient, and close to the beach! The terrific communication leading up to the stay and during checkout was greatly appreciated.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay and happy we could bring our fur baby with us. The host was great communicating the process. Loved the location close to the beach. Great for a weekend trip
Overall Hanna’s place suited our needs for a few days but would highly suggest replacing the electrical outlets thru out the place but for being just minutes from the ocean it was well worth it
The house was conveniently located for beach access..also close to stores, restaurants, and groceries.worked very well for a short stay. The kitchen was a bit scant ,so glad we didn't plan on cooking.otherwise we enjoyed our time together and the beach getaway.

It wasn’t horrible
Overall it was an ok stay. The bed was not comfortable at all. There were only 3 towels and rags for two people on a 5 night stay. I know there is a washer and dryer in unit but I don’t want to wash every day just to have towels and rags. Also the dryer has to be ran several times to get anything dry. It was a great location to the beach and the back yard was nice.
Mold mold mold! This apartment honestly should be condemned. There is so much mold in this apartment. It is a major health hazard. And the windows don’t even open. This place felt kind of like a dungeon. Extremely old appliances, stove barely works. The smell is disgusting. Stay away unless you wanna end up in the hospital from inhaling mold spores!

Response from VrboOwner on 3 Nov 2025
From the owner: "This is a false report. We take photographs before every guest moves in, and the photographs show no mold and a wonderfully clean apartment. Guest continued to stay at Hannah's Place, because we provide a beach wagon, beach chairs, and an umbrella, and they even requested a late check-out. We look forward to vacationers enjoying our beautiful Emerald Isle Beach, which is only 30 yards away from Hannah's Place."
This is definitely a no frills place, but the perfect location. Close to all restaurants and literally across the street from the beach!
I would just say that don't be prepared to do a lot of cooking while staying here. The stove is not great, but sandwiches and snacks would definitely be a safe bet.
If you want a small place, close to the beach, and with few frills, this is the place. It provides a convenient place to stay that is affordable. Do not expect to be able to cook full meals as the kitchen is not equipped. You also may want to bring your own bath towels.

Worst Vacation Rental
Hannah's Place is the worst vacation rental that we have stayed. The house stinks, kitchen appliances are rusted and worst of all the bathrooms are filthy. The toilet seat is not even bolted it shake when you sit down..The bathroom is tiny you don't have a place to put your shampoo and soap.
Nice place close to everything in Emerald Isle. Just across the street from beach access, short walk to the best coffee, breakfast and lunch places. The only negative point is that this downstairs unit has a thin ceiling, and if there are kids running around upstairs all day, you're going to hear them. Tip: If that happens, just leave and go to the beach.
This place cost us $400 a night. With all the other fees, it was outrageous. The kitchen is extremely old. And there is a portable air conditioner!!! The other air conditioner is extremely small.

Response from VrboOwner on 9 Aug 2024
Owner’s Response: "Hi Heather, You spent half that amount each day for Hannah’s Place, which is 30 yards away from beach access. We allow 2-night minimum stays and you booked from Thursday to Tuesday. Traditional property management firms in Emerald Isle demand a 7-day rent that ends on Saturday or Sunday. Many customers like the portable AC and enjoy the vintage kitchen, but with new appliances. We provide a beach wagon, chairs, umbrella, and toys for the kids, gas and charcoal grill, free Netflix and Sling, and a private washer & dryer. We look forward to having future guests enjoy our beautiful Emerald Isle Beach at Hannah’s Place."

Disliked: Location
Old outdated no yard table/chairs construction zone
Old outdated furnishings. Kitchen dreadful stove not functional. Would have been dark dismal except for front windows but construction vehicles and people and noise were right outside those windows our whole stay.
