The home has three bedrooms, the master (king) on the main floor en-suite and 2 bedrooms (queens) on the third floor with full bath and large upper deck. These are the second and third levels of the home. This upper deck is utterly amazing with views clear down the river and star gazing with a glass of wine watching those sunsets is heavenly. The main floor offers an open concept living room, modern fully equipped kitchen and dining room. The outdoor deck has comfortable seating for 6 with a sofa, love seat and 2 swivels chairs. This deck accommodates casual dining for 6 which is under cover for use as needed. Shade sail is available for your comfort outside during the warm summers over the picnic bench which can easily be set up or removed with the pulley system. If weather is a concern during your stay the sail nor the hammock will be set up but feel free to talk to me about your needs. Washer/Dryer in utility room and 1/2 bath. The roomy master bedroom is on other side of the home with private balcony, smart tv, double vessel sink, 2 person shower and jacuzzi tub for soaking with walk in closet. Central Air conditioning throughout and ceilings fans in the every room. Surround sound system in living room with 65" smart TV. Private chef available upon request for additional fees with regular, dairy free or gluten free menu options.
Outdoor space includes private fenced parking and the backyard for eating crabs on the picnic table or enjoying the fire pit at night under the stars. The bulkhead has steps that led into the water for launching the kayaks or floating in tubes which are provided along with beach towels seasonally.
*Please note there is a completely separate apartment on the ground floor of this home with no common inside access that is available for rent. It may or may not be occupied during your stay but please ask me about the details if needed or ask about renting for extended family gatherings.
These waterways are lined with cute towns for unique shopping, wineries and restaurants. There are multiple state parks close by for hiking and biking and you can rent canoes and boats near by in the North East. This home is located next to the local marina for easy access to your boat if available or you can anchor out in front. Arrangements made with marina. Entrances are monitored with security cameras for your safety and package protection. Chesapeake City is 6 miles down the road. Baltimore and Philadelphia both about 45 mins away Christiana 12 miles, Nemours AIfred I DuPont 22 miles, and Univ. of Delaware is 11 miles away. I-95 easy access in about 6 mins.
