The Space -
This house was designed to allow as much, or as little interaction as you want with your fellow guests! You can have the kids play downstairs in the fully equipped basement, or have everything going on in the main living room that is open to the kitchen so everyone can feel together for your vacation.

We've stocked it with videogames, board games, pool table, darts, 2 HDTVs, 4-player fullsize arcade machine with over 16,000(!) games, brand new kitchen appliances, lots of seating areas, you might never leave the house!

Did I mention the in-home movie theater? It's roku enabled with surround sound, and even has tiered couch seating! It's pretty awesome.

Weekend in Pocono

I booked this property for a short family vacation with my wife’s siblings, parents and their families. Overall, it was a memorable experience since we arrived in October and could see the fall colors in the area. There were deer occasionally visible around the neighborhood. Location is great, with shopping and scenic views nearby. The house was clean and checking in and checking out was easy. The host was responsive and communicated with me before, during and after the stay and we had a good experience. I would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting the Poconos area.

Family Pocono trip

Property was very nice and spacious. Owner is upfront about everything and very easy to communicate with. Ages ranged from 1 yr old to 76 years old. We all had a wonderful time.

Great for our group

This is a great house for multiple families to stay together. We had a group of dancers all different ages and their moms to stay for a convention at nearby Kalahari. There was plenty of space and beds for us to all have our own area but comfortable common areas too. The house wasn’t pristine, which we weren’t worried about in the mountains, and the ongoing communication from the owner was helpful. We all agreed that we would stay there again for similar events in the future. Definitely a plus to have a washer and dryer for us to use. There seems to be a humidity regulation issue in the basement due to all of the rain recently, which we informed the owner about. Overall, it was a good place to stay, especially for the price.

Wonderful Getaway

We had a wonderful experience at the Pocono colonial residence. The listing was accurate and there was more than enough space for 15 of us whether it be dining, chatting, playing pool or even watching a movie in the theater. The beds were as comfortable as any rental I’ve ever stayed in and the communication with Scott was outstanding. We are veterans of Vrbo and this was one of the smoothest experiences we’ve had. PLENTY of fun to be had for kids and adults. Very minor tips: 1) Bring a few extra towels with you. 2) Outdoor grill is a bit tough to light so bring a long lighter. 3) Plan on cooking on site as not a ton of options around but that’s not a bad thing. All minor and Scott was VERY responsive. Again, overall would highly recommend for an extended family reunion or groups of friends!

We host in the Poconos Mountains, a place we used to cherish visiting our grandparents and extended family as kids. We wanted to bring that same quiet, rural, family-oriented experience to others.

Why they chose this property

I grew up in Philadelphia, and my family rented a house in the pocono mountains in my youth. I loved going up there, fishing, shooting trap, hiking, running around with my dog. Being able to now host that experience for others is a dream come true!

When I was looking for a property, I really wanted one that I and my whole family could come stay at. I also wanted a space that people were thrilled to visit, with its beautiful large windows in the front, it's colonial design, and open floor plan it really felt cozy and spacious at the same time.

Having my entire family there, but also having them feel like we weren't crowding each other all weekend was very important. I love that it's a very open floor plan, but there are multiple living spaces in case people want to do a noisier activity downstairs, or watch tv.

Additionally, it's nestled perfectly within the poconos, it happens to have amazing access to the nearby beach/lake, as well as tennis courts, community pools, and commercial areas.

What makes this property unique

Walking into the home the first thing I noticed was the amazing 20 foot ceilings in the living room. I was wowed by all the space, the 6 bedrooms would be perfect for large family gatherings, and especially once I saw in the home movie theater I knew this was the one!
