Prairie Flax Cabin 3 - 2 bedrooms in Creede, Colorado

Welcome to our mountain paradise, Silver Thread Escape, nestled high in the mountains of Creede, Colorado. This cabin can house 7-8 people, depending on the size of your guests! We have a queen bed and two twins located in the loft atop a spiral staircase, and a queen downstairs along with the sofa. Amenities available include a cooking space, complete with gas burners, a full-size refrigerator and microwave. WiFi is readily available, as well as television. From the windows you can see the awe-inspiring views of the San Juan Mountains, perfect for drinking in as you have your morning tea or coffee. Spend your days fishing in our Gold Medal Ribbon waters, sightseeing on the Bachelor Loop or taking in a show at our famous Creede Repertory Theatre, where you always have a myriad of shows to choose from! We would love to be a part of your stay.

There is a single camera facing out from the front door toward the parking area. There are no cameras or recording devices anywhere in the interior of the cabin.

I cannot say enough good things about this property and the owners. The owners are incredibly kind and responsive and the cabin is just beautiful and in such an incredible location. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem.

Cute place

Cute, clean place. Owner and property manager super nice. The only thing we found to be a little uncomfortable was 3 of the windows had no screens and since no air conditioning all windows had to be open to allow cool air thru and this let in quite a few bugs. Aside from that we loved this place!

Cute clean centrally located getaway with good WiFi

Great location for hiking to waterfalls. Easy day trips to Lake City and Pagosa Springs as well as Creede. Late April was still off season but snow was melted enough for hikes. Many places were still closed but that just meant less people and great for hiking. Blue Moose is a must dine. Don’t expect to see many airplanes. We saw none in 4 days. They were remodelling a cabin next door and there were dogs living in one two door down but there was no disturbing noise. Dogs were not barky and they were well trained. Clean warm cabin with cute roomy layout and good WiFi for adventure planning. Great quick owner communication for local info. Would rent again. Thanks for the memories.
